Poor old Tilly.

Tillly is 6 years old. And is a disaster zone.

First, she went deaf within the space of two weeks. As in profoundly dead. Poor thing can't hear a thing anymore.

Then she developed a dodgy mass on her back. And paw. Both had to be surgically removed under anaesthesia.

Sadly she has a very long body and collars don't stop her for chewing her paw. Socks are a poor solution at best.

Last night she woke up up whimpering. We came downstairs and there was blood. EVERYWHERE. She'd chewed through her booty and ruptured an artery.

She's asleep now. Under strict supervision.

Poor thing.

Yikes!! Your pups are problematic. Mine’s just a big old piece of timidity, but a healthy one. I hope Tilly gets better.

Oh for cripes sake!

Now she's developed a cyst on her FRONT paw! She can't decide what to chew on first, so she'd forever turning around in circles!

It's a dog's life...

Poor baby.
Can I suggest a larger e-collar? It should extend past her snout so she cannot reach her paw/ rear end.

Hope she feels better soon.

Sorry to hear this!
I read an article recently that says dogs being deaf isn't really a big deal for them. They adapt very well to hand signals and can live blissfully happy!
Wishes for a quick recovery!
