Hi everyone.

We are long time DVC members who used to visit two or three times a year. However, we haven't been to WDW in over two years. Life just honestly got in the way (and we've become rv'ers). However, our only child is graduating from college and we're surprising her with a short trip (mid May for five days - 1 bedroom at BWV). She's our miracle. She was diagnosed with high functioning autism and a host of other challenges as a little girl. She's grown into a young woman who will graduate with honors and is currently in the middle of the grad school application process. She's amazing and we're giving her this trip to celebrate all that she's accomplished.

Anyway, I haven't been on Disboards in a long time. I'm looking for any ideas or experiences that I may not know about. We have park hoppers and will have four days in the parks. Crowd levels will be low.

Thanks for any ideas.

The hot new ride is Flight of Passage at Pandora in Animal Kingdom. Get you fastpasses for this at 60 days out, because otherwise, you will be waiting in a very long line.

Consider the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom. It is pricey, but a great way to celebrate her accomplishment.

If she enjoys fireworks, I’d recommend the dessert party at MK with plaza garden viewing. Our family absolutely loved the experience. I’ve also heard decent reviews of the Star Wars one over at HS, but there aren’t actual seats to sit down in. I hope it’s a wonderful trip!

Flower & Garden Festival will be still going on in Epcot. Make sure you buy her some Graduation Ears.

Congratulations to you and your miracle daughter! I second the Flower and Garden Festival, especially since you are staying at BWV. It's such a gorgeous walk, and if you all are up to it, a great way to get a light meal in by snacking at all the food stands. I hope you have a wonderful and amazing and magical time.
