I would really like some opinions from more seasoned DVC owners on this.
We just bought Poly in November. We have October use year. We have 90 points. So I've booked a stay in May 2018 that uses 68 points. I think we want to also go in early November 2018. So I was thinking I would bank my remaining 2017 points so I can go ahead and book November 2018 (which requires about 120 points).
I know that once I bank those points I can not get them back for 2017. So would it be a bad idea to bank them already so I can reserve that room? We aren't concrete on our November dates, we are flexible. But I think we will want to go so I should go ahead and get the room while I can, right?
What do you all think about that? What would banking my 2017 points now cause that might be restrictive? I don't think we will want to go back between May and November, but if we do, I would just need to pay cash for my room, right?
