Yes I got southwest tix out of providence the day they posted 8/28 uggg it was painful! Unfortunately, southwest doesn't participate in the on-ship check-in anymore but to get that perk using jet blue tix were over 5k when they posted this summer! SW/JB are the only choices for direct flights to Orlando where we are (mystic) unless we were going to ny/nj or Boston airports...

Yeah we booked Southwest too. Was on at the crack of dawn when the sw flights out of Hartford opened up. I like to book all my flight separate so if prices go down it's better for adjusting but in this case it cost me. I bought 2 tickets and then the price went up $100/ticket. I ended up cancelling and rebooking out of Long Island. It's a 2 hour drive but Hartford is an hour anyway and I paid sooo much less from Long Island. We never use the onboard check in for our bags anyway so I never considered it. What day are you flying in? We get in Friday morning. I like to spend the day/night in Cocoa beach beforehand. Then we leave Monday morning to go home. Kids will miss 2 days of school.

Great! We are coming in on Thursday night. My dad lives in Celebration so we will visit for a few days before the cruise. We love cocoa beach ! Fish lips (port canaveral)is fun to sit & watch the cruise boats heading out & I Dream of yogurt has great frozen yogurt.

4 is the perfect age for a first Disney cruise! How awesome to be going with your daughter and granddaughter!

Yes, she will have a fun time....after the plane ride. She isn't one to sit still long, and it is a long flight.
She always looks at our photos and really wanted to go on the Mickey boat

Anyone interested in playing NL Holdem Poker on the cruise??
I'm organizing a game and am looking for a minimum of 10 players, but would take as many as 20 players (2 tables).
What: NL Holdem Poker
When: Sat., April 14**
Time: 11p
Where: Cabanas Restaurant/Deck 11
Cost: $50 Buyin (No Rebuys)
Starting Stack: 6500
Levels: 15 minutes
Payouts:
10-15 players (3 places) 50/30/20
16-20 players (4 places) 50/25/15/10
** Depending on the interest we could play a couple of times during the weeklong cruise.
Please respond if interested. When 10 players confirm interest, I will post the event on our FB page for all to sign up.

Hi All - This will our our 3rd Disney Cruise and first on the Fantasy. My wife and son (will be 7 and is a HUGE Star Wars Fanatic) sailed the Wonder and the Dream in 2016. I see numerous comments about airfare from those in CT. Flights out of Bradley have skyrocketed beyond what I have seen previously. If you are in Western CT, check out Stewart Airport in Newburgh, NY. I was able to book somewhat reasonable airfare on JetBlue directly to Orlando.

I had even made a fish Extender group on Facebook MANY months ago, but I suppose since i used “4-14-2018” instead of “April 14, 2018”, it wasn’t getting searched very oftenand we have very few members. I was hoping there’s still some out there who’d be willing to join us?

Just checking in. Haven't posted on these boards in a long time. Looks like this group is possibly made up of a lot of the same people as the fb page group. For reference we are also from CT. We are flying out of LGA late Thursday night. We booked our flights on JetBlue the minute they opened.

Hi Everyone! We just booked today (a last minute decision). This is our first Disney cruise! It will be myself, my husband, and two sons (5 and 10). We are from CT as well. We booked flights out of EWR today, Jet Blue flying out on Friday afternoon...I was surprised at the cost. This was such a last minute decision because of the crazy price for flights, but since these were reasonable we went ahead a booked!

The airfare is crazy isn't it? We're flying out of Islip, NY (Long Island) on Southwest. I tried to book out of Bradley the minute the fares came out and it went up over $100 per ticket each way as I was booking. I book each ticket as a stand alone so I had only booked 2 of 4 before then went up. Had to go to to plan B.
