Pink Pegasus Frappucino question

I just saw that they had this at the DTD location...does anyone know if it is in CA or DL starbucks too? And also...have you tried it? How is it? Thanks!

I just googled it. I highly, highly doubt it. Stores are allowed to make their own local drink, and it looks like one of the DTD stores decided to offer a white mocha and raspberry frappuccino when they ran out of the blue powder. The stores inside the park might have the ingredients (possibly not the pink powder), but you'd have to explain what you want, it's not an official offering.

IMG_2745.JPG I had one. It was okay, but not something I would get again. It was really pretty, but the taste was overly sweet without any real flavor. My DD14 and DD11 thought the same.

DL did not have the ingredients to make the Unicorn Frappuccino it when I asked.
Downtown Disney was out of the ingredients Thursday (as is every local Starbucks I have been to). They must have restocked if they do now.
I am not much for coffee, but I love me some sweets!

As far as I know, Starbucks overall stopped offering the unicorn frappuccino as of 4/23. It was a "limited release" for one week only. I am also of the camp that it was awful. It was overly sweet with no real taste as a PP has said, and tasted to me like the masking agent they use to make liquid medicines more palatable.

This question is about the oinknoegasus though, which is a Disneyland thing that started post-unicorn. At wdw it's the pink flamingo.

Those pictures have blue so I think they were the unicorn. The pix I saw if flamingo had only pink.

There was even an article about it here at wdwinfo. :)

Most of the responses were actually about the unicorn. But the "pegasus" was made with leftover pink powder, so once the limited time offering is over, there won't be any more pink powder either way.

This is how I understood it as well. It was started after the unicorn because they had pink left but not blue, so once the pink from the unicorn mix is out, so is that drink. They just mixed it with white in order to use the remaining product up. Starbucks most likely won't continue supplying a specific location with that pink powder. When it's gone, it's gone. It wasn't ever a separate drink from the unicorn, was my understanding.
