Join Oliver and Kathy as they ride the Carousel of Progress located in Disney's Magic Kingdom in this 'Love it, hate it or update it?'

 


I love it, it's a classic!

It could do with a tidy up in general and that last scene needs replacing with either a proper modern scene or maybe even try and bring it into a futuristic scene based on today's predictions.

Wow! I agree with Oliver! There's a first. :)

I agree. I love the attraction and stop by every trip. But it's embarrassing that it constantly breaks down -it makes you wonder who the heck is running Disney Parks. Makes me sick.....
 


I agree with them. Love it but needs TLC and updating. Did the final scene used to be in outer space?? Not sure if I'm making that up or they changed it at some point.
 
I love it! It's my favourite ride and brings back fond memories for me as a child. I can't help but tear up and sing along. :)
 
CoP is an undisputed classic. Walt said it should never cease operation. I hope it stays open forever.

That being said... and I'm ashamed to say this... I haven't done it in years. But I like that it's there. One of the few attractions that Walt actually touched.
 
We've all dealt with so much change to our beloved rides, it would be very nice to keep this one the same. I go every time and consider it a "Must do" to everyone visiting WDW...but yes, the dog could stand a vacuuming ::yes::
 
I love this ride, it is actually one of my favorites in MK. I go every time I'm in the park. My family teases me for loving it so much! I think all the scenes could fair well with a nice refurb, especially the 'future' scene (LOL). But, I actually find the fact that there are things are not exactly perfect on the ride kinda charming.
 
CoP is a must do for me. I think the positive message of a 'geat big beautiful tomorrow' is nice to hear. I agree that last scene is in need of a technology, and wardrobe update; just don't mess with the smoking oven!

Been visiting WDW for probably 30 years or more and can't recall the final scene ever being in outer space.
 
I love it all except the last scene needs some updating. I would be sad if the music changed.
