Target December 10% Off Gift Card

For those of us that have to try to buy online is there a shipping charge for the Target gift cards?

Target is offering free shipping on every order during this holiday season. ETA: You can also have the GCs emailed to you (for free, of course).

I just ordered my $300-worth of Target gift cards online. I will be going to the store tomorrow to get another $300....or maybe $600 (2 separate transactions).

Sorry, I can't keep track of the changes recently. Is Target.com allowing you to buy a target gift card with a target gift card?

Step one completed....just ordered a $300 gift card to go towards my 2017 DVC dues. So far this year, I have accumulated $700 in Disney gift cards (with another $300 more to go, once I hit the first Target today for step 2:thumbsup2) and when all is said and done, I will have paid $910.94 for a savings of about 9%. I know it doesn't sound great, but I will point out that NONE of the gift cards that I earn for free go towards my annual dues. All of my freebies go towards the other costs of the vacations. In the past, I was happy with the 5% RedCard discount. This is almost double that amount so I am tickled:goodvibes.

After church, I will stop at Target #1 and buy the other $300 card. Then, I will hit the other two Targets to buy 2 more $300 cards so that I can buy my 13-month Gold AP.

Just to be clear kristenrice... You will then use these Target gift cards to buy Disney gift cards? Through a cashier or do you have to go through a self checkout?

Is it better to get physical cards or egift cards to use to purchase Disney gift cards in store? Does it make a difference?

I got myself and DH $300 each online. Going to have my sister order $300. All for dues.

I am going to get another $300 from Another family member. We get to go to Disneyland one day next week and we will buy our one day ticket with it and meals.

Did you order physical or egift?

Egift. I did that last year., printed them out, I do not have a smart phone. Went to the store to convert to Disney cards. Used the app disers recommended, combined them all to one and called in to pay dues.

Just read on another thread that someone was turned down when they tried to buy Disney gift cards in store with Target gift cards. I think they were in the state of Washington. Hoping it will still work here in Colorado.

Definitely agree that it's cashier/manager dependent...last year with the buy 2 gift cards get $5 back I was driving 30 minutes to the "other" Target b/c the one closest to me enforced a limit. Then, when I had a stack of $5 Target gift cards they wouldn't let me use them for Disney gift cards. So I ended up buying Bose headphones that I gave away. Frustrating but a good learning point (not to waste time and money on that again).
I felt like I was the only one with problems last year! But yours is worse, 2 stores making up their own rules! We were told to go to Customer Service when they saw we had a few thousand in Disney GC and she called the manager to check on the limit and they looked and looked and couldn't find one but he very nastily told us we could not buy more Disney cards with our $5 Target gift cards. I swear if it was a cartoon the man would have had steam coming out of his head as he huffed away! We just took our cards to another Target and used self check out to get the rest of our Disney money.

How can you purchase gift cards at self check-out? Don't they have to be activated? How is that done at self check-out? I've always purchased gift cards with a cashier.

Scan them, put in how much you want on them then pay for it. It's very easy.

I believe scanning the gift card actually activates it as well. I've purchased Disney gift cards thru self check. All I did was scan them as I did with the other stuff in my basket. I had no problem using the gift cards afterward. And I think the receipt will say that they are activated.
