ginger ale

Yes. In cans at the bars, and from room service (both for an extra charge). You can get it in the MDR at meals for no extra cost.
I've read it both ways about the extra cost on MDR's can you confirm with personal experience?

Sailed as recently as four weeks ago and there is no extra charge for ginger ale in the MDR's - I drank it every night :)

Never been charged for ginger ale in the MDRs. If we don't have wine both DH and I have either ginger ale or cranberry juice. No charge.

Of course, I'm figuring that all the ships are the same - but the Magic galley tour revealed that ginger ale is in their soda dispenser:

I've had ginger ale, as well as Shirley Temple drinks (non-alcoholic) - no charge in several of the MDRs on various ships.

In conclusion, ginger ale is available at all bars. And available thru room service.

If the vessel is in heavy seas, ginger ale, will be free.

Among other things, will be free.

I can also confirm from personal experience that ginger ale is available in the main dining room at no extra charge. I had it every night on our cruise last week. And in 2015 too.

I had ginger ale from the soda machines on the Magic on my Sept. 28th cruise of this year.
just the regular ones? on deck 9? also, how does the taste compare to say Canada Dry? or Schwepps?

It was from the soda machines on deck 9. They only had regular ginger ale, no diet. I drink a lot of ginger ale and I found the taste to be a little weaker than Canada Dry or Schweppes.

Wonder tho --does the Ginger Ale on board have REAL ginger? Or just a flavoring??

Important for those who might be drinking it for sea sickness purposes.
I can find no information online as to the actual ingredients in Fanta Ginger Ale. My guess, not much, if any, ginger is in there. As I said, I find the ginger flavor weak in it.

But, sometimes just the thought that you are "helping" your queasy tummy is enough.
