It's always something! I thought I was all done and ebay gc's cashed out, but no! I bought Wgc's on Tue, on DD26's account. I used one $250 gc and bank card for the shipping. Well, tonight, I go into her account again to use the $15 offer code on a purchase using a small ebay gc to use up the last couple dollars and then the balance on bank card. So, I went to bank app to check our balance on the joint account and there is a charge on there for the $250 plus 9.95 for the shipping!! I was sure I put in the gc but I was trying to get that small gc i used today to take, and it wouldn't that day(worked fine today), and I don't know what happened unless maybe I didn't end up putting the big $250 card in the second time I tried to do things(I had backed out when the small gc wouldn't apply). Maybe, Idk, but can't think of anything else, but maybe I never put the big one back in the code area. Or, maybe when I signed in after putting in the gc numbers, it then switched to the bank card that is set for payment. I did have that happen once months ago, but luckily I had caught it in time! I usually really try to watch that but must have missed it this time. Now I've spent $250 cash towards those walgreens gift cards that I was trying to use up the last $250 ebay gc for. I checked my own account and that had worked as expected, whew! And luckily no overdraft charge as she just happened to put a deposit in today that covered the charge as it came thru on there today.
Oh, and the other much luckier thing is I still have the ebay gc's I used and there is still the $250 balance on it! I almost threw those last two out, but I'd saved all the others so decided to hang on to these two as well. Whew!
I found the pre owned BB gc's (247.50 for $250.) and Target gc's, as well. But, I really can't afford to put more cash out at this time, I wasn't planning on putting out another $250 at this time. So, the only thing I came up with is going thru Target ebay store and going that route. Unless someone knows why that wouldn't really work, I think I'll go that route as a way of getting that ebay card used and cashed out.
As an aside, I would like to try that preowned gc route for our ebucks if they are still there.

). I did a second order and added a Square Chip Card reader, which I will need for an upcoming craft fair, and it seems to have gone through as well. I didn't want to deal with a third order for the last $25, so I just used that towards the card reader and had a smaller balance to go on my credit card. We'll see what tomorrow brings, but hopefully these two orders work out.
