Another option if you're by the TTC is to walk to the Poly and while I'm not sure of the stops along the way, I think the boat goes from Poly to Contemporary.
I don't believe that there is a boat from the Poly to the Contemporary ????
I could've been wrong, but i thought there was a boat that made that route.
I'm not positive either, but I don't think so.
I am sure someone "in the know" will set us straight
You may want to check the monorail times - not sure they run that early. But when you transfer from the TTC to resort/MK monorail it'll be Poly, GF, MK then Contemporary.
yes my plan is to drive to ttc and take mono just wonderng how many stops and time around the loop..it says mon open 1 hr prior. It doesn't sound like the OP will need to transfer. Sounds like TTC is her starting point...I assume she's probably driving her car and parking it for the day so as to go to MK after the CM breakfast. Assuming the monorail is operating that early, she can get directly onto the resort monorail and take the loop around to the Contemporary.
I think some form of transport to MK will be running that early for people who have PPO breakfast at MK. Worst case scenario, OP could take whatever transport is available to MK and then walk to the Contemporary from there. She'll need to figure out the monorail operating times for the date in question and go from there.

First, if you're going to Chef Mickey's why are you parking at TTC? Just go ahead and drive directly to the Contemporary.yes my plan is to drive to ttc and take mono just wonderng how many stops and time around the loop..it says mon open 1 hr prior.

If you must part at TTC, there will be 4 stops between the TTC and the Contemporary on the resort monorail.
There is no boat from TTC, Poly or GF that goes to the Contemporary. However, you can take a ferry to the MK and walk (about 10 minutes) to the Contemporary.
I CLICKED THE LINK AND LOVED ALL THE INFO..BUT IM SORRY I COULDNT FIND WHEN THE MONORAIL STARTSThe most important thing is to make sure to check the official Times Guide for the exact date you are going to make sure the Resort Monorail line is running that early. I tend to use this link: http://www.orlandoparksnews.com/p/weekly-walt-disney-world-times-guides.html
As you can see, the Resot Monorail start time varies by the day and these can/will change from week to week, so always make sure you look at the current time guide that covers your exact date. I trust the guide over any CM!
Assuming the Resort Monorail does in fact start running at 7AM on your Sunday in question (which as you see, did this past Sunday), then you're golden. I'd roughly budget a 15-20 minute trip from the TTC to CR, which will make stops at Poly, GF, and MK along the way. It should not be terribly long but sometimes you get the random "hold for further traffic clearance" that makes the loop longer than it should.
Hope that helps.
