Hi All,

This is my very first Trip Report. I love reading others trip report and decided that we had an "eventful" trip and thought it would be fun to share with you. Truth be told I have a little bit of Post Disney Blues- You all know what those are... checking the Disney Experience App to see what the wait times are IF YOU are still on vacation, looking at the Orlando weather and reviewing pictures over and over. UGHH I hate Disney Blues.

Little bit about me. My name is Beth and I am a proud mother of our 6 year old Ashley and married to my Prince Charming Larry. We live in a suburb of Dallas.

Most likely will fill you all in on Ashley and why she is so special in our hearts as it correlates with Disney.

When she was under a year I put on the Sing Along with Disney DVD and she was so excited to see Minnie I knew she was hooked on Disney.
IMG_0920.JPG IMG_6917.JPG

We took Ashley to Disney for her 4th bday and she talked about Disney ever since. Our next big trip was suppose to be NEXT year but my husband said to me in Sept - you know lets pull her out of school and go when it is decorated for Christmas. Now my first reaction was to jump up and down and scream YES YES YES but I quickly did the math in my head and moaned NO NO NO I am well into the 180 days out mark. For those experts who like to plan 180 days is when if you stay on property you can book your dining.

Now I wasn't worried about coordinating the trip as I have been keeping up with the research pretty well but I do remember the dining being critical for several reasons so I hustled in making a plan and booking the trip and deciding on dinning. Ugh the problems to have to face but I didn't care we were going BACK TO DISNEY.

Day 1 and Pre Trip Planning

Since Larry suggested an unplanned vacation I literally had it booked in 24 hrs. We decided to stay at the Contemporary. The thought was we were staying for a shorter time and we just didn't want to deal with the bus system since Magic Kingdom most likely will be our park of choice. I was excited because that is where I stayed when I was 13 (sigh so many years ago). Once the trip was booked the countdown began.

The week before the trip Ashley would wake up asking when are we going to Disney. (key point for day 3). I could tell she was excited too and on the morning of the trip she woke up and screamed "Mommy and Daddy we are going to Disney TODAY". We confirmed it and she went running to get changed and wait for the car service.

We use a driver to get to the airport and I just adore him but for some reason Ashley got car sick in the car. (So unlike her) Luckily I had a bag so no mess was made but it was just NOT like her. So kinda chalked it up to a bumpy ride and she was playing on her ipad.

Got to the airport and luckily the flight was on time. Boarded the plane. Upon the decent of the plane Ashley screamed "I wanna get off the plane my tooth hurts" I mean screamed bloody murder. Everyone was looking at us. We were like what is going on????? The flight attendant got her ice to chew on and that helped. So I thought maybe it was the pressure of the decent but she has flown over 2 dozen times and this never happened. Little did I know these were all signs of what is going to follow.

LANDED and SO IT BEGAN......

We landed and in a hurry I decided to make the critical decision and grabbed Ashley Mickey purse. I wanted her to carry one thing- her roller bag and I would take my purse, my roller bag and her purse. Larry would take his stuff. Well Larry handed me the iPad and usually I put it in my purse but my purse always turns into the dumping ground for EVERYTHING so I put the iPad in the Mickey Purse.

We got off the flight and took the internal monorail. We were all in a good mood and Ashley wasn't complaining about her tooth so I thought... must have been ear pressure or something. As we were on the monorail there was an end space so I sat down with the bags. After the short ride we got off the monorail and was walking toward baggage claim. We just passed the TSA check point and suddenly I go OH MY GOSH I left Ashley purse on the Monorail. Larry stopped dropped his rolling bag and literally ran back to the monorail to try and get it BUT TSA stopped him. I was begging them to please let us go or go with him, Ashley was crying, I felt horrible but nope they wouldn't do a thing to let us go back through. Can I say I felt horrible. I was like omg why did I not check my stuff. I know better as I travel a bunch and never have done that. All I tried to do was comfort Ashley and try to convince TSA to please go check but they wouldn't.

The only thing they did was give me lost and found. So imagine 3 people walking thru to baggage claim with the longest faces ever. I didn't really care about the bag or really the iPad it was more the fact that I lost it. Larry on the other hand was trying to lock it down. We met the driver at baggage claim and I told him what happened. He said it could take hours for lost and found to clear the bag IF it is found.

I decided to call Lost and Found to just see and to see what the process was. The lady was very nice but said No bag has been returned we can check back later. So instead of celebrating that we are ahead of schedule and excited everyone was just down but I decided this WILL not ruin the start of the vacation and just did my best to show Ashley it is just a thing we are ok.

Our bags came out and we got into the car and drove for about 15 minutes and something told me to call Lost and Found. The same lady answered the phone and goes "I was just going to call you- we have your bag" I said is the iPad in there and she said YES. The driver immediately turned around and back to the airport we went.

We got back to MCO and I jumped out and left the others in the car and went to Lost and Found. The entire time I said prayers of thanks to whomever found that back and turned it in. When I got to lost and found I saw the bag and tried to leave a reward but they would not take it so I said I would do something nice for someone else with the reward money for someone else.

As I headed to the car I got a text from Larry "Hurry.. Ashley is crying about her tooth". I practically ran through the airport to the car to find out what is going on with her tooth.

Got to the car and sure enough tears are flowing. We just had her at the dentist a month ago and she had no cavities... I was like great in a city where I need to find a kids dentist. We tried to distract her to the hotel and it would work and then she would cry.

The driver received a call and said the main road to the Contemporary was closed and he had to take a back road. (MORE TIME with a child in pain was not ideal but we had no choice)

So honestly I didn't plan on our entrance to be like it was but all I wanted was to get Ashley to the room and get her a dose of Baby Advil which luckily I packed. (Thank you to my Mom who always brought a bag of random medicines when we traveled and I do that too).

As we pulled up to the Contemporary one of the nice guys came with his iPad to check us in. I was like listen I need a doctor or info on how to get my daughter to a dentist asap. He immediately took me to concierge. As I was explaining I need a dentist I looked over to see where my family was... Larry being the wonderful husband new his duty was to go to luggage and get the stroller we rented with a huge case of water and now time to find my sweet daughter who was in so much pain... where could she be... oh yes there she was.. in front of the TV in the lobby talking to the other children. I literally did a double take because LOOKING at her you would see NO CHILD IN PAIN.

So the conceriege explains my best option would be to take her to a doctors clinic. I said that will not work because they don't handle teeth. Little did I know what I would be in for in 48 hrs.

We got to the room and Larry and I decided to forgo the night and get Ashley to a dentist. Funny as soon as we got to the room and pumpkin who loves hotel rooms saw how nice the room was she felt "better". We gave her Baby Advil and waited 15 min and she said it didn't hurt so we decided to take it slow.

Day 1 Activities

We went straight to Magic Kingdom and part of the reason we stayed at the Contemporary was we knew we were going to spend most of our time at MK and they had a short walking path to MK. So we found the walking path and while it was a short easy walk I was mad at myself as I knew I would be clocking the miles and meant to bring my fitbit. Oh well.

We got to MK and as I walked in I was so excited. It was decorated for Christmas. Our first order of business was to see Mickey. We decided we always have to check in with the head mouse but it was a bit of a line. Who knew that on that day it was Mickey's bday. How fun to be there on that. Two years ago on the first trip we saw Mickey as our first stop so I was expecting the same but no Mickey talks now. I was flabbergasted. Took me some to get use too. I kept checking on Ashley and she made a new friend in line and was acting fine. After Mickey we went to see Tinkerbell and by that time we were starving so went to Caseys for dinner.

I don't care of daylight savings time so it was strange being in the park where it was so dark and it was so early in the evening.

Ashley is a fussy eater but I noticed she barely ate her hotdog or fries but I chalked it up to her being fussy and she wanted popcorn. (to any parent reading this might want to take note of eating or in this case of non eating)

We had a fast pass to Splash Mountain which is Ashley favorite ride and rode it twice. Again she seemed fine. We left the park around 8:30pm and walked back to the Contemporary.

Got back to the room and she complained a little of pain but went straight to bed.

I talked to Larry and he agreeded to keep the plans for tomorrow as we didn't think it was anything serious.... UGHH

DAY TWO: Woke Up and thought WE GOT THIS

Please do not take this as complaining as typically we stay at moderate hotels and once I stay at a hotel I am a creature of habit. I loved staying at Port Orleans Riverside. In fact I would have stayed there this time but Larry said listen we have a short trip lets go all out and stay where I stayed when I was a kid- 40 years ago. The challenge with going to a new hotel is learning where everything is and what to expect.

We got up in the morning and Ashley wasn't complaining so we went to breakfast at the hotel. We found out everything is on the 4th floor. Breakfast was so so. Personally I would rather have breakfast at Port Orleans but at least it was easy because after breakfast we took the Monorail to MK. In hindsight Ashley didn't eat breakfast either. I was shocked she didn't like Mickey waffles- she ate maybe 3 strawberries. (again I should have made more note of her lack of appetite)

The Contemporary had a wonderful Gingerbread display of none other then FROZEN. It was beautiful.

Once we took the monorail we got to MK in time for the opening show. (Score- not on the agenda and I considered it a bonus and a good sign).

After we entered we went straight to see Rapunzel and Rella as I messed up the Fast passes yesterday and Ashley wanted to meet Rapunzel. Good news was the wait was about 20 min.

Ashley seemed to be in a good mood so we had a fun day riding rides until lunch.

We had lunch at Tonys and I read many reviews that said it was not good but it was. Granted even after 3.5 hours to touring we were famished. Ashley ordered pizza. Her favorite and she barely ate it. I mean very little pizza and didn't touch anything else. She did have room for desert. Again I so should have paid better attention on what she was and WASNT eating.

Tonight was the Christmas party and I was so excited but it called for rain. We decided to go back to the room to rest.

Will post tomorrow.. Thanks for following.

Mickeys Very Merry and WET Christmas Party

This was the event I was so excited for. After our nap we returned back to MK at 5pm and got our Christmas Party band. It had started to rain or rather a downpour and we all had our ponchos ready but I was like shoot this is going to be some wet wet party.

I guess there was a parade about to start from the day because as we were walking down rain street we were told by cast members to get to the sidewalk the "Rainy Day Parade" is beginning. I was like huh... I have to see this. It was the absolute cutest thing with a very catchy song. I still love that song... Thankfully you can't hear me singing it but there is a You Tube video or two out there of it. I had no idea. Granted it wasn't a full parade by any means but at least Disney did something to offset the weather.

Once the parade was over we went to Dumbo and It's a Small World before our 6pm dining at the Plaza. We had our last FP of the day for 7 Dwarfs before dinner and headed there and when we got there it was broken. They were very nice and said we can come back later and we would get an email. Oh well so we headed for dinner. My goal was to have dinner and line up to watch the 1st Christmas parade.

Dinner was great and I thought Ashley would eat everything- grilled cheese sandwich was a major favorite but again she picked at dinner but of course had room for dessert.

After dinner it was pouring but Main Street was lined up with tons of people regardless. We found an area and put a poncho down to sit on... pointless really because our feet were near a puddle. Ashley socks got soaked and I didn't want her sick so Larry was smart and went into a store and got the small Disney bags and we used them as temporary socks. We waited for an hour for the parade and they kept saying the announcement it was postponed but the street was still lined with people. Now I was getting tired of being wet and rained on and sent Larry to get us popcorn. He came back and said that a cast member says they are lining up. Well after another 30 min nothing and Ashley was getting restless so I made the call to leave.

We walked half way down Main Street and she started crying... "I don't want to leave" so we go another spot on the curb.. keep in mind it was starting to empty out. Once we got our 2nd stop on the curb she says I have to go Potty. So Larry took her potty and I am telling you within 45 seconds the music of the parade starts and anyone who was left in MK jumps back to the curb and I get crowded immediately all around me. As I see the start of the parade way off in the distance I pray that 1) they can find me in the sea of people 2) they make it back quickly. The music gets louder and louder and while everyone is looking right towards the castle I am looking left towards the entrance trying to find my tall husband. I was starting to get upset as I thought they would miss it. Micky and Minnie were the very first float and no sign of them and suddenly I hear "BETH" and look back and see Ashley working her way through the sea of people to me on the curb. She says "Mommy did I miss any of it" and I said No honey it just started and looked back at Larry and just smiled.

So the parade was adorable and we had 2 special moments. A reindeer came up to Ashley and danced with her. Ashley was like wow. But the best was an Elf came up to us and goes "Have you been a good girl" I said yes and Ashley goes yes she has. Luckily I had a shirt made with her name on it and the Elf goes I see that you are on Santas good list Ashley. I will let him know you are here. Keep up the good work and Merry Christmas. It was a nice long interaction considering. Ashley was amazed.

Disney Magic Alert: Santa is the next float and he is waving and goes I see that Ashley is on the good girl list. Ho Ho Ho. Ashley looks at me and goes Mommy he said my name. Even Larry comes up to me as goes he said Ashley's name. Well I stayed and listened for a minute after and he was calling kids names out and some were not common. We figured out they must have communicated back to Santa who was on the street and at what point to say what name.

We decided to leave the park because it was still raining. In hindsight we did very very little at the event due to the rain but at least we had a magical moment to remember. Got back to the Contemporary and we all need warms showers/baths and then hit the bed.

Little did I know Day 3 would change the rest of the vacation DB5.JPGDB6.JPG

Day 3- Oh NO!!!!!!!!!

Today was Hollywood Studios. I love this park because it seems so compact. We were having breakfast at Sci Fi at 8:30am (before the park opens) This was our first time on the bus system and it was empty being so early. Everyone was a little slow moving and tired. We got to HS and honestly I miss the Mickeys Hat. I hope they are planning on replacing it with something amazing. I also expected Photopass Photographers but there was none. So we took our own photos.

Sci Fi was adorable... they gave Ashley her drivers license and she thought that was neat. She sat with Larry for breakfast so I didn't see what she ate but I heard it wasn't alot. After breakfast we had FP to Toy Story Mania. The wait was already long and the park just opened. I love love love Fast Passes. Ashley rode with Larry and I went alone. Immediately into the ride I thought I did something wrong. The ride wasn't twirling around. As soon as the ride ended the first cast member said to us they are aware the ride was broken and we will ride again.

After Toy Story we saw Ariel and then headed to Frozen Sing Along. That show was amazing for so many reasons. Our next and final FP was House of Terror. Ashley was getting nervous but she rode it before and we told her she would be fine. She rode it and at the end goes can we go again. I on the other hand am not a big ride person and she went with Larry as I shopped.

They met me after and we went to Mama Melrose for lunch. Talk about being tucked away. We almost couldn't find it. There was such a wait still and we had a 2pm show to Frozen Sing Along again as I was lucky enough to know someone who got us VIP seats. So lunch was rushed and Ashley nippled on cheese pizza. I am pointing all of this out for a reason.

The goal was to see the 2pm show, maybe ride Star Tours and make a judgement call go back to the room to nap as we had a 5pm dinner at Grand Floridian and then Fantastic at 7pm OR push through the day. Ashley seemed to be hanging on well and we could easily go through another 2 hours worth of stuff to do before heading towards dinner. So we saw the Frozen Show again and then we got in line for Star Tours. Immediately she says my tummy hurts...

We left the line and she started acting up... You know when you see kids fussing and parents exasperated. That type of fussy. She started crying because she wasn't listening to us and yup not to go into graphics got sick EVERYWHERE on everything we had and all over me. No kid likes to get sick but when Ashley does she gets even more upset so typically I try to calm her down and Larry starts cleaning her up but we weren't at home with towels etc and she threw up on her blanket so I had nothing to clean her and she was getting even more upset. Larry luckily saw a guy selling something and grabbed napkins. We cleaned her up as best as possible and took her to the bathroom. I stayed back as a Cast Member came to clean it up. He was so nice and I kept saying thank you and I am so sorry. He says it happens all the time. Ugh. Once I felt that the Cast Member was fine I headed to the bathroom. We just bought a frozen shirt so we changed her to that shirt as it was long like a dress. Just as we were exiting the bathroom the Cast Member came up to me and handed me a sheet of paper and said please use this to get her a new shirt. I was like wow that was so nice. First because how did he find me there were a ton of people by the bathroom. So I ran and got her another shirt to have because the one she was wearing though new still needed to be washed as Larry salvaged it from the episode.

We hurried to the bus and of course we missed the bus to the Contemporary and had to wait. At least we were first in line and I could get a seat but Ashley started crying she was cold. I had nothing to put on her legs other then to block the wind with shopping bag and use my own body to try and shelf her. The bus came and I just held her close and I hear her whisper "Mommy my tummy aches". I had a spare empty bag with mean she got sick again on the bus. For the most part it all went in the bag except some on her face which she wiped directly on my shirt. She was so embarrassed but a nice man with a kid handed me some wipes. God Bless other parents. We were so so close to the hotel and I was so happy to get off the bus.

We got to our room and changed clothes and gave her another bath and put her to bed. Obviously cancelled all dining plans and i knew Fantastic was a no go. She kept saying "Mommy and Daddy I was so excited today that it made my tummy hurt".

Larry told me to go to Downtown Disney and go shopping and I said I would and I will go to Earls and bring back dinner. Also warned him that round trip it could take up to 2hrs. He said it is fine she is sleeping and he would call...

Next Up... Seeing an unexpected side of Orlando

$500 dollars for a DOCTOR Visit

The entire time I was away I kept texting to see how Ashley was doing and was told she is fine and sleeping so I hurried and did some shopping... someone forgot to back enough t-shirts so I had to get that someone more shirts (hint mens dept) and then when and got Ashley a feel good gift to make her smile. I honestly thought she was sick because of the excitement. Picked up Earls and headed back to the hotel. As soon as I walked in the room I could tell something was wrong. Ashley got sick again not once but twice when I was gone. Larry said it didn't do me any good to know about it because the bus system still takes long to get back. He had gotten saltines and sprite to try and settle her tummy before I left but she didn't want anything. At this point it was close to 9pm and I called the conceriege. I had to get her in to be seen this is not just being excited issues something is wrong.

Conceriege gave me the number to the doctor on call service and after a 30 min call giving the health history and hearing about their process I was told the initial cost was $500 and it could go higher because the dr most likely would want to stay an hour seeing that she can keep things down. Now I would pay anything to make Ashley better but I thought that was ridiculous amount of money. He did say the other option was to go to the local Orlando clinic. In Dallas they are called CareNow and they are all over the place and we use them all the time and they are clean and reliable when our primary doctor isn't open. I thought we will do the same with Orlando and called the "medical center". I am not going to list who it is but it is the one the hotel recommended.

I liked the fact that they sent a cab to get us on their dime. I grabbed an extra bag just in case and we went to the lobby. Ashley was getting upset again and I was like oh no. The cab ride took a bit then again we had a sick kid in the car and he hurried because she thought she was going to get sick. We arrived at the center and I was NOT impressed. The place was very much dated.. had snacks to sell in the lobby, looked very cheap but I had no option. Another couple came in with their infant and the mom and I started to talk and to bond. They were staying at BayLake Tower so at least I felt we were in it together.

I filled out the paperwork and at that point it was just the two patients in the center and then it got crowded. Ashley started screaming for water. They said to not give her anything until she is seen. When I say screaming I mean screaming "Mommy I want water" and tears coming down. I said to Larry while that makes me sad the fact that she has tears means she is not totally dehydrated.

We got seen by the doctor finally and the nurses were more compassionate. I don't know if Ashley was overly sensitive but she did not feel comfortable with the dr. I could kinda tell kids weren't her preferred patient as she was no nonsense. They gave Ashley a tablet which dissolved under her tongue for the vommitting and it turned out she has a small ear infection........ I WAS LIKE that could be why she was crying about the flight. The vomiting to me didn't make sense but the dr said they can't tell why she had it.

After 90 min we were released with 2 scripts as was the other couple from Bay Lake. The challenge was both of us wanted to get our scripts filled now so the other mom was so sweet and said lets share a cab (since the clinic was paying for it). We asked the cab driver to take us to a 24 hr CVS to get the scripts full. Apparently there is only one in the area and that took another hour. Ugh. At least both kids were sleeping.

We got back to our room at 2am and I was just thrilled she wasn't getting sick and she was sleeping.

Tomorrow or rather that day was Animal Kingdom and we had breakfast at Chef Mickey. I was so hoping she would feel better to go but at 7:30am made the call to cancel Chef Mickey. I kept saying oh well we will eventually go back. I let them all sleep and they woke up at 9am and seemed ok.

Next : Take it Easy on Day 3

Day 3: The Schedule is OUT the Door

Ashley and Larry woke up at 9ish and seemed to be doing ok. They wanted to get out of the room but I was very hesitant. I called dining to see if we could get into Chef Mickeys as I wanted to stay near or at the hotel. Would you believe they had a reservation at noon for 3. I was so excited.

Ashley said she felt up to going to MK so we had 90 minutes and I thought if we go very SLOWLY through MK we could get a ride or two in calmly and then head back to the hotel for lunch. At least it was sunny out so we headed there. Ashley loved the Speedway so we rode race cars and then did a little shopping. She saw the teacups and we said no no no as we didn't want to risk it with her tummy.

We headed back to the Contemporary for our reservation. It was for us the best buffet. I decided to go with Ashley and select foods with her as I knew she HAD to eat something bland and had to eat something. She was very good and got things she liked and even went back for seconds. It was hard to believe that 10 hrs earlier. I was so happy. I knew the amoxicillian would help with he ear ache as she is on it about 4x a year for ear aches. It was the stomach I was worried about being ok.

After Chef Mickeys it was time to rest back in the room. I knew Larry needed the nap and honestly I did too because I didn't sleep well at all.

Ashley and I woke up at 4pm and she agreed that she and I would let Larry sleep and we would go to MK and take it slowly. She was doing very well and no complaints. They gave me the stomach medicine that melts under the tongue just in case. We went to Dumbo and played in the waiting area. Again no signs of a sick kid. Larry met us and we saw Daisy and Minnie.

We went on some other rides and now I don't remember where we ate for dinner. Each night back at the hotel I would write a note of what we did but on this day I used a sheet a paper so I need to find it. It was an early night as tomorrow was our last full day in MK.

Part of me was so bummed because this trip has not gone anywhere what we expected but Larry pulled me aside and was so sweet and said "I know you put so much into planning and the schedule is off.. don't worry everything will be here when we come again. Don't worry" Love him as he always knows what I am thinking and how to be realistic.

Next: Last Full Day

Last Full Day

Since yesterday seemed to go ok we kept the schedule knowing we would need to adjust if Ashley started feeling sick or too much. Of course there was no rain in the forecast so we headed straight towards MK at 8:30am. We told Ashley we were getting breakfast in MK and she kept asking where.

I kept saying hmmm it is around here somewhere and headed towards the castle. Ashley was so excited when i told her we were eating with the Princesses as her first trip we did that too and she said it was her absolute favorite. For me personally now that I know what to expect I was hoping I could relax and enjoy myself more, which I did.

When we were leaving I was looking for the mice and found them. The waiter seemed impressed that I asked to find them.

After breakfast we rode so many rides. Ashley seemed perfect and I kept checking in with her. I was talking to a Cast Member as she and Larry went on another ride and she asked me how the vacation was going. I told her Ashley was sick one night and we kinda lost a day of planning but she is back to herself. The Cast Member said "Do you mind if I ask you a question?" I said sure. She then said did she get sick on Day 3 and I said Yes. And then she said stomach issues and she hasn't been eating well right? I was like yes. The Cast Member said that is usually standard fare for toddlers.

I said it is and she explained kids get so excited arriving and then going on rides first day. They are out of their eating routine, not really sleeping well because exhausted/excited AND combine it with the Florida heat. She said was Ashley keeping hydrated before she got sick. I said no not really though we bought a case of water it wasn't until after the doctor visit that I really made sure we all drank bottles of water every day. The Cast Member said it happens ALL the time to kids and to not feel bad and that is why they highly recommend at a minimum an afternoon off on the 3rd day- rest by the pool or go to Disney Springs. Stay away from the parks and be off your feet.

You would think she was giving me sage advice but when I looked back at Ashley lack of eating, her excitement was a 10/10 and having an ear ache which wasn't caused by the trip but developed due to flying it all made sense. Now I know for next time. I am definitely planning a free day or afternoon and now will just extend the trip an extra day to get everything in.

Mommy Mommy I am Alone with a Princess

It was almost 3pm and we were heading back to the room to rest when the 3pm was about to start and we got excellent seats/area at the rope so I thought we should stay. After all we would either need to go around the parade or wait until it was over to cut across. We were directly across from the Christmas store. So we decided to wait and sure enough RAIN RAIN RAIN. I was like you have got to be kidding me. Larry took the stroller and stood under the awning and I just sat there with my poncho on waiting for it to clear. You could tell it was going to be a short storm. Well Ashley would go to Larry and then come running to me to give me weather updates and suddenly she comes running to me screaming excitedly.... "Mommy Mommy I am alone with Princess Tianna, Hurry give me my autograph book and their is a photographer too". I scrambled and gave her the autograph book and she went running in.

Apparently where Larry was standing was where Princess Tianna lives and Ashley walked in to see her Daddy and no one but Princess Tianna, her handler and the PP photographer were in there and they asked Ashley would she live to see Princess Tianna. Thus yes and God Bless Ashley for having the presence of mind to know think about her autograph book.

So I was talking to the Cast Member holding the rope for the parade and she said they were stepping off at 3:45 for the Rainy Day Parade as the rain was slowing down. Oh well it wasn't in the cards to see a dry parade this trip.

Ashley came out and she had fun with me singing and waving to everyone.

After the parade Larry and Ashley headed back to the Contemporary and I used some alone time to shop down Main Street. It wasn't until the text when things went a little off.

Ashley had been collecting the character babies. They are plush characters with a baby blanket around it. We of course got Anna and Elsa and Larry texted "Please tell me you have Anna" I looked in my bag and no Anna. I was already walking back to the Contemporary and honestly who knows where we dropped her. I looked on the road to see if they dropped it but nope. I got to the room and again needed another post rain soaked shower and Larry went to the gift shop and got her another one and put in with the collection of other babies. She woke up from her nap and we explained we got another one and we needed to be very careful. I still don't know where we left her - oh well I hope another child is enjoying her at the very least.

Next: Dinner and FP Surprise

I'm following your trip report! Sounds like y'all had a lot of obstacles but also managed to have a lot of fun! I appreciate your report as well since we are going for our DD's 6th birthday and the excitement tip is very helpful!
