Hey!
So excited getting married at wedding Pavillion next May .. We are two weeks away from setting our wedding date as you can only book 8 months in advance
We are thinking about Music walking down the aisle. I have read that they play the organ when walking down . How ever I know this sounds strange but I can't stand the sound an organ makes ! Does any
One know if playing normal music is an option or just having a violin? And does any one know how you get Richard to greet you on your wedding day ?

If Richard is working, you just go over and take your picture. We did a CD with a couple of particular songs, but the included organ music is not cheesy and terrible! It's good! Happy planning!

If they can play Duel of the Fates from Star Wars when I walked down, they can play anything. :)

You just need to get them the sheet music.

Hi! I have a quick question about music too. When you book though DFTW you can choose to upgrade and pay for other music such as a flute or trumpet. If you then do that does that replace the organ or violin at the wedding/cake reception, or would that be as well as those? We are coming from Scotland and would love to have bagpipes as guests arrive and leave the Wedding Pavilion, as this is Scottish wedding tradition, but not sure if that then means we lose the violin that would play at the cake cutting? Not sure how specific you can be about where/when the additional musician plays, and bagpipes at the cake reception would be far too noisy! Any information anyone has would be so helpful, thank-you :)

You can add as many musicians as you like. There's no limit that would require you to swap one for the other. You would just have to pay for any musicians beyond those included in the Escape package or Wishes ceremony fee.

I was offered the choice of swapping out the violinist for the guitarist for $400 or just adding the guitarist for $600. I decided to go with both musicians for a fuller sound. As Carrie said you can add as many musicians as you want. They'd never take away one just because you want something different for the ceremony.

I know this post is a little old but can anyone tell me if it's possible to have a guitar quartet? I really love the guitar but I want to have lots of them to add to the effect then I arrive at the ceremony! Any help much appreciated :charac2:
I know all the Disney music I want but my h2b has said he wants one piece that's not Disney in the ceremony  Anyone have any suggestions? I've found some useful suggestions online but any Disney fan suggestions would be veery welcome! Thanks everyone :thanks: XOXOX

You can get any number or combination of musicians you are willing to pay for. :thumbsup2

We were wondering something similar...we want our first dance to be a song by matt and kim and can't locate the sheet music, will they play outside music?

There's no prohibition on non-Disney music. It just depends on whether they already know the song or if you can provide sheet music. I believe in this podcast, one of Disney's violinists says he can try to learn a song if you provide a recording in advance: http://disneyweddingpodcast.com/2015/04/22/vendor-spotlight-disney-violinist-robert-kerr/

So obviously the next question is how do you get Robert to play at your ceremony because he is so awesome and lovely!

It also made me think adding an additional musician for this particular song may be smart.

You could try requesting him from your planner!
