It was mentioned that regular guests will be gone on Post-Party day at Epcot but I was wondering if the park closes at 9 pm and guests with passes will be allowed in at 8 pm, do they actually ask guests without wristbands to leave? How does this exactly work?

I purchased my post-party ticket and received my entrance card. Do we still get wristbands? Where do you get them? At Epcot?

Thank you

Yes they do ask those with out wrist bands to leave. You will get your wristband when you enter with your party ticket. Try not to link your party pass to your MDE. If it is linked make sure you enter after 8 through the marked turnstiles because if you are any earlier or enter through a regular line it will take a normal park ticket away!

Once Illuminations are over Disney CMs will direct everyone with out a wrist band to the front exit. They will be pretty militant the first couple hours. You will be asked several times to show your wrist band. They also will ask you to see it to ride rides or buy food for at least the first part of the party.

I worked this event one time and we were even told to go up to people sitting at tables and managers went through the bathrooms as well. They try to make sure they catch everyone.

If I'm at the Epcot all day, how does that work? Where we we get the wristband? My son will be picking up his package on Friday, will they have them at the registration at ESPN or outside the Epcot entrance?

If you are in Epcot all day there should be a check point somewhere in the World Showcase to pick up wristbands. They race packet should have that information or you can have your son ask at the runner relations booth at the Expo.

Thank you so much. I hope it doesn't get too crowded. My understanding is there's no FP+ available on special event nights? Hoping to do the new Soarin' and Frozen at least couple of times. :)

For your son, the one running, he may get his wristband in his packet at bib pickup if they are doing wristbands. It's different this year since the race is in the AM and party much later, unlike in the past where the race was at night with party right away. So, no one knows for sure how it will work. But yes, they should kick non-party people out. As far as I know FP+ is not available, us runners don't have any ticket to link anyway so couldn't make them if we wanted to.

As for you, I'm not sure, but for Halloween parties if you are already in the park you just have to find one of the check in spots to show your ticket and get a wristband, so you would think it should be like that as mentioned above.

We'll be able to get in for the party through the IG correct? We're spending the afternoon there and it would be a pain if we had to go to the front.

Though I suppose no knows since it's a new way to do it this year. But with lots of people staying at epcot resorts I figured we would be able to.

I would assume you can as I know people could use it in the past for the party. Would seem silly not to open it, but yeah who knows they like to do screwy things sometimes.

Thank you everyone. At first I wasn't too thrilled to purchase ticket for me since it is expensive but my son didn't want to go by himself so now I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it won't be too crowded once the regular guests leaves. I'm hoping to much rides I can just incase it's too crowded during the day.....I can use the daytime to visit all the "countries" in detail which I missed in this April.
