Typhoon lagoon locker alternative

Hi,
Does anyone know if you can bring a secure lock bag/box to typhoon lagoon? I used something similar for valuables at the beach. The bag or box would attach to the beach chair and has a combination lock.

Get a waterproof lanyard phone pouch, stick a credit card or cash inside, and go. Just put your bag with your clothes and shoes and sunscreen down wherever and don't worry about it. Better yet, wear swim shoes and a rashguard so you don't have to leave anything. If you have a car, take the key off the ring and stick it in the pouch with the phone.

We plan to just bring in a bag of towels and sunscreen and wear everything on us, like I do at water parks here at home. I have left bags sitting on the ground in the shade at Typhoon Lagoon numerous times. No one wants my hotel pool towels...

just stuff your wallet and keys in your shoe...no one will look there

Yes they will. This is a common place people try to hide things.

Never leave anything you can't stand to lose just sitting out like that. No one needs a full wallet at a water park. ID and credit card or a bit of cash. Use a waterproof lanyard pouch or lockbox around your neck.

This is the best choice, IMO.

We bring Flip Flops, Old tee shirts and resort pool towels leave it on a chair go back and collect it when we leave. If you have other things a pouch you have to bring make sure it fits in a pouch as other have said.... If you have to bring phones, wallets Car Fobs and the like rent a locker it may be far cheaper in the end.

We do the diaper trick at pools and water parks. Unwrap a clean diaper than ball it up and rewrap it like you would after a dirty diaper. Toss it on the top of your bag of stuff. No one will want to dig around in that bag for your good stuff
Dang we don't even have kids and we'll have to try this in June lol

It’s been several years since we’ve been but we’ve done the small lockbox thing. Worked great and was better for us than fussing with a locker.

I haven't purchased the Unofficial Guide in years, but I think it used to say to pour some root beer on the diaper for added realism. But I think that was for tying the bag to your stroller so that another guest wouldn't take the stroller.

To answer your question, yes, we have one of those and have used it there and lots of other places.

Just bite the bullet and pony up. That way you don't have to worry all day if your valuables are safe in your shoe under your chaise lounger or you don't have to spend money on pouches, bags, hidden compartment shoes or flip flops to avoid the lockers.
While I agree that the WDW waterparks are pretty safe, this makes the most sense to me. How much is a locker? $6, maybe $8? This is a WDW trip and that's really not much in the grand scheme. If you really need to bring anything of value with you, this is the route I would go. Personally I don't bring anything I cannot live without and just leave it in the chair.

Small lockers are $10 and large are $15. I paid for a small last month and felt that the peace of mind knowing my valuables were safe was worth it.
