40% Transfer bonus from Amex to British Airways. Might be targeted, but I do have it.
Ugh, I know it's a big no-no to transfer ahead of time, but I kind of want to transfer for our Japan trip, our booking window opens July 21st. Thankfully the transfer bonus period ends 5/15, so I have time do decide but this would save us 35K MRs. I need 371K Avios or 300K Asia Miles.

I was kind of wondering if I was to use the Disney visa in the store if the 6% bonus would work. I think I would have to use the Disney Visa at the time of purchase vs charging it to the room to get the 10% off but I’m guessing unless I charge it to the room I won’t get it to code as travel. Trying to see if I could get both but I don’t think so?

I do have like $3000 of gift cards saved for Aulani that I have gotten for at least 10% off saved over the last 18 months or so but with a family of 5 I feel like that might not be enough. When I see the Aulani gift shop videos on YouTube I feel like we will buy one of everything.
yeah for the 10% they match it with your Disney card, see I tried to use my Hyatt card and the lady goes the system says that's not Disney and I go whoops grabbed the wrong one. I think the system checks the beginning prefix of the Disney card this would be my assumption but I am not 100% sure.
yea my travel cards I get 3x so to me 10% off was better. I did charge all the activities to my room though to get the 3x.
It had to be in person vs charging it to the room to get the 10% off I asked for this also. Aulani was expensive. I went to the shops too much.

Do you think the ana is better than japan airlines? I'm trying to plan this myself is it still 365 days out?

I was hoping to book the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino for February vacation 2023. But it looks like at 10 months out, I'm already too late. I get the message: "Unfortunately, this hotel is not available during those dates. Explore other available hotels below, or modify your search. If you need further assistance, please contact us."
I'm not really flexible on the dates as it's a school vacation week. Any chance it will open up to a points booking at some time in the future or does this mean it's not happening?

just looked out of curiosity looks like everything is points + cash, even if try to book it tonight. I wonder if there is a flyer talk thread on this.

From what i've read it is better, but I need 4 tickets and ANA only releases 2 J/F tickets. My approach is to use AA on JAL for the flight there and BA/CX for the return flights. Need 240K AA miles & 300K CX

With the BA transfer bonus I would only need to transfer 265K MRs

Anyone with San Diego/La Jolla info? My DH has a meeting in La Jolla for a few days in June. I could go with him and use a Delta Companion ticket. We will have Friday afternoon/Saturday morning to tour around. Would you just stay in La Jolla? We have 1 Hilton Free Night, so it would have to be at the Embassy Suites La Jolla or Torrey Pines (Hotel La Jolla is sold out). We could also go to Hotel Coronado since they have a standard room available. Thinking we could tour the San Diego Zoo while at the Coronado.

What would you do? I have never been to La Jolla or Coronado and we haven't been to the zoo. We have stayed at several hotels along the Bayfront before (Hilton and Hyatt). Will it be a pain to uber back and forth between the Coronado and the zoo?

Found the $30 back on $100 at staples on my hilton biz. Lots of new offers but this is the only useful one for me. Will stop and grab a dis gc tomorrow.
Thanks for posting!
I got this:

Offer merchant logo

Spend $100 or more, get $25 back
Staples
EXPIRES
06/30/2022

The Marriott Biz will continue for another year!
In addition to the $165 in cell phone credits, this gives $145 in Lowes and staples credits in approximately1 years time. $310 plus FNC plus a few points. Annual fee $125. It's earned it's keep. Annual fee is not due yet but when it is I'll try for a retention to sweeten the pot.

I have that one both BBP cards too. $30 would have been great, but I will take $25!

I have this bookmarked for ANA redemptio and yes 355 days.
Transferring from Amex to Asia Miles.

I also got the staples deal for $25 off $100. We don't have a staples near us, but I see they have a good selection of gift cards online too. I'll probably get one of those or even their $100 visa for $106.95. Great discount on that too unless I'm missing something!
