Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Have done YC CL pre-COVID and am a little on the fence about whether to go back to CL or just a regular rooms (and do more nice ADR’s) for a summer trip. I’d love to hear your review of the YC CL

I am still trying to figure out how to post pictures !! I know it is simple for most but i am not tech savy. We own a restaurant , my forte is in the kitchen !!

We enjoyed our short 3 night stay at YC very much. Other Club levels we have stayed at include BWI ( my favorite resort ) Wilderness Lodge , GF Royal Palm Club ( That was fabulous ) and Poly ! We found YC up to par with our favorite Boardwalk . I will say the afternoon offerings are lacking but that seems to be across the board. The CMs were friendly. Always asking if we needed anything else, clearing plates, offering to get us more etc!

We found the food both in the morning and 5 pm times to be plentiful ! Always stocked . We were actually suprised as it seemed to be more than we recall . Eggs , Quiche, Sausages , pancakes in the mornings in addition to the more continental style breakfast. Evenings were also a surprise as in additional to veggies, meats , cheeses etc, there were Pulled pork sliders, chicken fingers, mac cheese , short rib & mashed, tuna poke cones , caesar salad, caprese salad , as well as the normal fare.

Any questions, I can answer while i figure out the photos :)

Actually, you need a certain number of posts to be able to do pics. I think it’s 10, and you have 9. So if you get to 10 and then give the system a bit of time to update, you’ll see more functionality. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the review and offering to answer questions.
I was wondering if there was apple juice or juice boxes available at most times? Also, my DH is very curious about water bottles, but unfortunately I suspect I know the answer to that one.
Did you get daily housekeeping?

Last time we were at YC CL, we enjoyed the food, but found the staff lacking, so it’s good to hear an improvement on that front.

There were cans of soda avail ( coke , diet coke, sprite ) and bottles of applejuice. Like the big ones 16oz. There were NOT water bottles but they did have a refillable plastic bottles i saw . I feel like this is something they should provide for the price we are paying and my only complaint really. In years past, there always were water bottles available!

I’m sure my DS would drink that whole big bottle of apple juice.

Last time we were there they didn’t have a beverage cart outside. The wines were set up at the beginning of the buffet line and it always seem to cause a commotion and crowd of people in one area—1/2 wanted food & 1/2 wanted wine.

No housekeeping! I had thought that CL already was getting it, and that they were returning to normal (but I can’t remember the dates for which resorts). That stinks- I really miss full housekeeping daily.

Okay, i figured out I couldn't post photos because I had a new( ish ) account. I was able to find login to my original account from long ago and now all of the features are showing !!! Ill work on getting more pics up when i have time . Cheers!

Wow ! Ive been around since 2000. That's kind of amazing, altho not really active in past couple of years , but that's crazy to me ! ( and I still can't really figure out the picture thing ..lol ! )

You stayed YC cl and got no housekeeping? Seriously? I’ve stayed BC cl twice and BWI once and had housekeeping every day. I wonder what’s up with YC!!

Nope, We had a knock on door once to offer towels , but not a room clean ever. Wierd . I was at the pool when the towels came so maybe they would have come in then if my husband wasn't in the room, I don't know. I do miss the daily cleaning AS WELL , as the nightly turn down service with the chocolate on the pillow !!

I really don’t have much DLR experience at all (just one brief visit), but one of the best Disney meals I’ve ever had anywhere was at the Napa Rose bar one evening several years ago. Highly recommend.

I recall ending up in conversation with my bar neighbors. Once they realized I was a WDW person and this was my first time there, they immediately asked “what do you think of our dinky castle?!?” 😂 Random moment but that exchange has always stuck with me.

Anyway, I also stayed at DLH. It’s like a mix of elements from CR and Poly, which makes no sense in writing but totally works there, somehow!

Have fun!

That’s what I told my husband about DLH 🤣 “it’s like a weird mix of CR and Poly….” And he’s like “WTH?!” 😂

I have many feelings about restaurants at DL. Here are some of our must do's:

Napa Rose (see below)
Carthay Circle (the bread... my gods the bread)
Lamplight Lounge

Beyond those, I go with what sounds good (menu perusing is your friend) and what is available.

There are not as many restaurant options at DL as there are at WDW. This means it is easier to pick where to go but also more difficult to get into some places you want to go. All the places I listed are quite popular and you'll want to book as soon as you are able. AND if you do not manage to get what you want, check back and often. Locals book and cancel all the time.

This is hands down my #1 must book for when I go to DL. Napa Rose is AMAZING.

Two votes for Napa Rose, so it obviously must be done, and I can’t overlook any place that has bread that must be mentioned so I’ll give Carthay Circle a try. My daughter just want good churros, and honestly I’ll be happy just snacking my way around (and eating a good corn dog), but I’m always interested to hear if there are any true must eats (besides churros) since you just don’t hear about DLR restaurants as much in the land of Disney food. I guess I know what I’ll be doing when everyone goes to bed at night.
