Which ADR’s to book first?

I feel like we have many hard to get ADR’s. Our 60 days is April 1st. My DD will be helping me book. We are booking for 7.
60: Garden Grill Dinner
60+1: The Plaza Lunch
60+2: Chef Mickey’s Breakfast (would like 10-11 time frame); Le Cellier Dinner
60+3: Sci-Fi Lunch
60+4: Yak & Yeti Lunch; Topolinos dinner
60+5: Cinderella’s Royal Table Lunch
60+6: 50’s Prime Time Lunch
60+7: MK Dessert Party

I do have a bit of flexibility in some ADR’s like switching sci-fi & 50’s & a couple of others, but overall this is our plan. I am a little concerned about GG on arrival day. I just found out there is some DVC extra hours that night. I really want that one for my nephews & niece!

I had trouble with Chef Mickey's so I would also think that will be tricky.

I can't speak to the entire list .....but Sci-Fi at 6+3 will tough and should be among the first few that you try for.

I would try for Sci Fi, CRT, Chef Mickey’s first

I had a lot of trouble with Chef Mickey’s breakfast at 60+2, so I’d start there personally.

I’d switch Prime Time and put Sci Fi on day 6. Sci Fi is harder to get than Prime Time. Yes Garden Grill may be hard to get. Just checked on the app for today’s open reservations for May 1 and 2 nothing is available.

Sci-Fi and Chef Mickey's. The Plaza is on the smaller side so less tables and sometimes books up quickly also.

I tried to book the dessert party yesterday when the window opened for our May 2-5 trip and there were no times available that week.

Did you know that MK is closing early on 5/3 for a cast event? There are no fireworks that night so no dessert party. Maybe that made the other days book up faster.

Our 60 day mark was yesterday. We had several "hard to get" reservations we were hoping for: Topolino's breakfast, Storybook dining, Space220, Cali Grill and O'Hana. With both my husband and I working on it, this is what we did. We knew O'Hana would be a long shot since we were aiming for Day 2, and no surprise we weren't able to get that even though hubby tried for that first. In retrospect we probably shouldn't even have wasted the time. Meanwhile, I went first for Space 220 on Day 6, and got that nailed down. Then my husband went for Storybook (Day 7) and got that one secured while I worked on Topolino, which I was unable to get for any day at all. We looked at Cali Grill after that and got that one too. Looking back, we should have known that O'Hana wasn't going to happen and put Topolino at the top of our list instead. I think you're only going to get Topolino if you go after that one immediately. We have a split stay and so I have our second 60 day mark in a few more days, and I'm going to try for Topolino again.

I agree! Topolino’s is really hard to get. I tried everyday up until our trip. Finally got one about 3 days before. It drove me crazy trying to get it

Yeah, I saw that. Was hoping to boo for 5/4 so we could stay for the extra evening hours after but that wasn't available, and 5/2 and 5/5 were also unavailable.

Thank you for this run down. Topolinos is on the list because my dad has mentioned it several times so I‘m trying to get it for him. I’m sure garden grill is going to be a long shot on day 1 so we might not even waste time like you said. I might have to wake my son up early and make him help his sister and I.

Just keep checking! Check 30 days out when people cancel trips and close to your trip. Set up alerts if you can. I had mouse dining, but every time I rushed to grab it was gone! Good luck!

I don’t think they sell out that quick. There were some later on for me, but I can’t remember how far it was after our 60 days.

I'm really hoping we can still get a reservation there somehow. My kids love character dining, and while we do have Storybook we don't have anything with Mickey/Minnie and gang - the character dining selection is so limited right now and Topolino is really the only one with those particular characters that appeals to me.
