It sounds like either the caller or the CM misunderstood. There's 0% chance of that being true, assuming the AP holder has a resort stays for the days they booked park reservations.

If you have a resort reservation but all days are "sold out" for reservation, what happens?

Keep trying later. It could very well be a glitch in the system, but if not, other folks will be modifying their park days later on, so park passes will open up for sure. Plus, I would imagine a little availability is being reserved for ticket only guests when that opens up. You could try then, too. But I still think it’s a glitch.

Ok, got bad advice from member services.

AP expires October 17. DVC reservation for March 12-15. Can’t renew AP until 60 days out. Was told I could still reserve parks today, turns out that was not the case (Only wasted 4.5 hours).

Am I not going to be able to reserve a park until AP renewal?

Finally got mine. At first it kept saying all parks were unavailable so I kept hitting back button on computer until the parks became available. Took about 20 minutes from start to finish to get 5 days reserved that way, but I’ll take it how I can get it. Immediately showed up on app as well, even the one day I didn’t get a confirmation on (got Olaf head)

Back to where it listed your "party" or fully back onto the main reservation page?

We finally got in-calendar at first appeared gray. Kept refreshing and then showed availability. So don’t give up if you see grayed out calendar!

Why couldn’t they do a gradual release! I can’t get in for a September trip and hearing with reservations into December. So stressed. If we don’t get park passes, we’ll cancel our APs and head to Universal.

Finally got signed in with iPad after switching from Firefox to Safari, and used the dining tip. I think the initial browser used might get bogged down with cookies or something in the cache and switching to fresh browser might be helpful. I usually use Firefox and after switching to Safari, i got it all taken care of. Good luck to everyone, I truly hope you all get your days...just hang in there...lots of glitches at the moment.

What is the dining tip?

I wasn’t able to get it to show any availability on my IPad so went on Chrome on my laptop and got my reservations for April 2021. Now just need to add a day to my park pass so I can get my last day. Hoping all the park reservation crap is over by then though!!

Hey guys- it won’t let me book for my July trip bc I booked my December for 7 days- today there seems to be a block for trips longer than 7. Has anyone talked to Disney in the phone about this ? Will we ever be allowed to edit and add?

I just got off the phone w a CM and she didn't say anything about purging days (the 407-939-7917 number). I'll be IRATE if they purge days.

has anyone gotten anywhere with this in the last 30 minutes? 4 browsers, normal and incognito mode, and i can't get any availability for my 2nd park day. and the phone numbers won't even connect.....it's silent for 30 seconds and then the call fails, so I can't even plug my phone in and go about my business while on hold.

I'm a big believer in NOT waiting on the castle screen and trying different windows and browsers. I finally got through on a Private Window in Firefox.

To get great advice on here today (LOL)...it helps if you say whether you are an AP holder or WDW resort package guest with tickets. After 3 hours we are starting to see the same kind of problems or glitches and that people with the same vacation or tickets are running into exactly the same problem.
We realize no one wants to scroll back 142+ pages so helps us out in being more descriptive and we can tell you what we are seeing or know
