I wonder if this is the biggest craze, to greet a new ride, in theme park history?

Not close. The crowd for opening day Wizarding World IOA was the craziest thing I have ever seen pictures of. Thousands of people in a wide line stretching out of the park.

Time for round 3 (3rd morning hopefully 3rd ride) I need to be back at my resort at 11 so hoping for low boarding group.

Taking a crack at riding it again. I’m pretty much waiting in the exact same spot in front of the gate as I did Saturday. Maybe ever so slightly ahead. If this is any indication, I’ll probably be on and off the ride before 9am, after which I’ll get in the car and motor off back to Atlanta.

Total flub on not thinking about time to load 2 ECVs. Gonna be about 10 minutes total. We will be ok though. We don't need BG 10. Leave AoA 5:47a.

The last 3 days have been a success. Each day had only 2 shutdowns and they were able to get through all BGs before park close. It looks like Disney is getting close to figuring out how to mitigate everyone's cell phones interfering with the ride and now starting to push the throughput higher and higher.

I am not surprised by a larger number of boarding groups at all. If they were unable to get through all their boarding groups over the last three days, I could see them lowering the number of BGs. Since it was successful, I am going to gamble and say the go for 115 tomorrow; or even higher since they have a buffer of the EEMHs to make sure they get through all the BGs.

Hopefully they can get to 1700/hour before I get there in January.

Is that’s why the ride has been breaking down? How do the cell phone signals interfere with the ride? I’m interested in how the ride works, boring I know!

I was expecting this one to be tested last night with EMH, I guess they didn't want a "Disney lied to me" by first saying RotR wouldn't be included in EMH and then included.
On the HUB I can see them assigning and calling back bg and once the bg are full, instead of saying "full" it says "paused". This system was already in place and ready to go from day one, but good thing they didn't offer it until now that most of the kinks seem to be over (knock on wood)

We arrived 6:20am, tapped in about 6:45, and got boarding group 50. They are currently boarding BG 9-18, as of 10 minutes ago.

You can't control how well the part of the line you choose to join moves. You got a boarding group, so you can be happy in that as a success!
