Has your friend called the ticket line directly? Have her at least give it a try ASAP.
I told her to the day it sold out, a few weeks ago, but she’s a nurse, got busy at work and complete forgot. I’ll have her try today. Can’t hurt. I should have just done it for her.

I tried calling last night for an extra ticket for September 26th sold out party and nope, nothing left, sadly!

When you say the 29th, do you mean September 29th or October 29th? If you're going in October, I wouldn't count on there being much left, especially with regards to the LE items. This would be applicable to both the party items and general HalloweenTime items.

We are going to the 9/29 party! I’m sure we’ll be good merchandise wise other than the OB sipper. I bet that one will go quickly!

You would think that they would most definitely release dining and WOC dessert parties for party nights. They always did at DL. It's like the wait is killing me...lol I really want to reserve the dessert party...

I've been watching the Disney dining reservation calendar as well, and I'm seeing WOC dessert parties for non-party nights, but its still greyed out for OBB party nights. I am now starting to wonder if there won't be dessert parties for the DCA version of the Halloween party this year. I know they are sometimes slow putting these things up on the calendar, but I'm suddenly suspicious given they have non-party WOC dessert parties listed for a couple of weeks after OBB starts, but nothing on party nights two-weeks in......

Anybody have any intel? :chat:

Did they have dining reservations for MNSSH when it was at DL? Maybe with the smaller crowds they don’t bother with them?

CM on the phone said they were not doing dessert parties for OBB nights :/

Thanks! I've been on hold a few mornings while driving into work and haven't been able to get through. I'm not completely surprised, but was still holding out hope!!

Appreciate you taking the time to post :thumbsup2

I had a feeling, this late in the game with no mention of them that this might be the case. I am really curious how viewing will work. As a very short person, with an even shorter little person in my party we always wonder if we'll be able to see anything and I love WoC so much!

Same! And I was willing to pay to not have to waste a huge chunk of my Halloween Party standing there waiting. BLAH!

Awh, I was really hoping to be able to secure a dessert party during OBB for WOC, we will only be there for just over 24 hours so anything to maximize our time is welcome.

Looks like no dining packages either.

I guess Disney believes with the *limited* number of tickets for OBB that there will be a spot for everyone to see Villainous, but a PP is exactly right that if you want a specific spot, then you will still have to line up, therefore sacrificing limited party time.

Definitely NOT ideal! Oh well, at least I will be there enjoying the evening with my son, who I don't get to see very often anymore. Gotta look at the bright side! :jumping3:

Well if there aren't any dining packages or a dessert party that will also open up a pretty big swath of the viewing area that is not normally available to the general public so it may not be too terrible. Though I probably would have paid for one of them as well if they were offered.

I'm still holding out on a few things with my kids schedules so haven't pulled the trigger yet but getting nervous the only party we can attend (10/6) will sell out soon...

I’m also bummed that there won’t be a dessert party. I really hope that the amount of party tickets they are selling will substantially decrease the amount of people viewing WOC. I don’t want to have to devote a bunch of our party time to staking out a good viewing spot, but we are really excited about the new show and I want my son to be able to see it.

Is it possible they might show Villainous twice during the party?

Sad about the dessert packages :( I’ve never done one for WOC so I was planning on doing it then. I wonder if they will do a dining package for the parade?

Just to clarify for those following this thread: MNSSHP is in WDW only. DL's party was Mickey's Halloween Party (MHP), which is not happening this year. This year's party in DCA is the Oogie Boogie Bash.
Every year we get reports of people buying tickets for the wrong party and being turned away at the gates, so knowing the correct name for each party is more important than you'd think!

Have they said which WOC show they’re going to run on non party night?
The original WOC show will run on non-party nights.

Pretty obvious you didn’t read by post by posting this yourself
