I love credit cards so much!

Is Chase Sapphire Reserve automatically expedited for shipping? Any recent data points on this?
Less than one week until Disney trip and needed for that huge spend.
I also have sapphire preferred coming and I thought I heard that is not.
How long for you?

The CSR is automatically expedited. I got the CSR the day after applying. I applied early in the day. The CSP was about four days later. I got my cards about a month ago.

I have to call today too. I have both cards I need to close.
WhooHoo y'all! SW points finally posted!! Calling SW tomorrow for a retention offer, or I will close the card. Never called and asked for a retention offer before so I'm a bit nervous :scared:

Report just the other week that a CSR came expedited, seems generally about 2-3 business days. CSP comes standard mail, usually about a week. Sometimes can get that expedited if you call.

That's what i was thinking too. We don't have many expenses so that's a big chunk of my year to meet that.

We don't always fly every year so not sure what i could do with that credit, but if we did I'd be happy to pick it up (wish for a little higher bonus though)

Huge chunk of my year also. For my recent Marriott card and the 3K spend required = my daughter's car insurance, my car insurance, my home insurance which is normally paid by the lender (waiting to see how that falls out) my electric bill, gas for my Hilton Head trip and misc other regular little stuff, and I still have $340 to go. My next larger amounts won't be until close to Xmas, unless I have unplanned expenses. I have a Disney trip coming in November but I already have the gift cards.

For many $340 might be a grocery run - for me it's 2 months of groceries! Younger daughter lives with me and spends her cash eating out with friends and also tends to bring me food a lot, so I spend money just keeping fresh stuff available. Plus if she goes for groceries, she pays for them herself.

And, I have the 1K spend for my Amtrak card, which I've decided is an excellent deal which directly benefits me.

I wouldn't sign up for this one right away even if you wanted it unless you desperately needed SW points right now. The bonus on SW cards has always fluctuated. This could go up in the future (or down, to be fair).

Now that is what I like to hear. Should be Monday then at the latest. Thanks for the DP. I’d like to call for preferred card to get expedited but with all the shutdowns I don’t want to risk eyeballs on my account.

I was just wondering if I could take my home insurance out of escrow and pay it myself, with a CC of course.

The new SW card is not what I hoped it would be. I guess the anniversary points aren't bad for the fee, but I was hoping for a better bonus. I think they are trying to limit their companion passes, hoping for a higher bonus soon, but I think the days of 60,000 RR are gone, especially for the lower cards.

Sw card is... interesting. I don't think I'd bother to do the extra $15k unless I was MSing it. If the base bonus will increase to the $2k/50k etc like the other cards that would help... If it does I might consider it when going for DHs CP. If the offer goes up and the AF is $50 to $80 more than the regular cards, then the upgraded boarding and credit could be worth it to me.

Wonder what the credit is good for, flights? Itd be pretty silly if it was bags: laughing:

Sam’s Club Membership Deal $35 ($25 In Sam’s Club Giftcards + $18 In Food Items) - DoC

Good deal for those like me who aren't already Sam's Club members and have several Amex Offers for Samsclub .com ($15 off $50) to use in the next 13 days or so. I doubt I'll ever step foot into a Sam's Club (too far), but I keep reading about discounted Disney Gift Cards and I want in. It's an effective $10 fee, but I'll make my money back in savings.

I'd add that Groupon e-gift cards are available on Gyft, which earns 3x UR on CIP and 5x UR on CIC. (Walmart e-gift cards, which can be used at Sam's Club, are also available on Gyft.) I purchased a $35 Groupon e-gift card on Gyft, redeemed it to my Groupon account, and it automatically applied against the $35 Sam's Club fee.
I'm thinking I might do this in Dh's name since I just canceled mine last month...think it'll work?

We haven't had our homeowner's insurance included since we purchased our home 13 years ago. We figure the funds are better off in our account, earning the little bit of interest that it does, rather than with the lender where it earns us nothing. State Farm sends the bill and close to the due date, I call my agent's office and put it on my CC. It does help when I have a MSR to meet :)

urrrg. That's high,I guess it depends on if that $75 SWA credit can be combined and used with points, otherwise it's pretty useless (I don't see how it can be used if I don't buy extras)

Could work under your name. I think there’s a six month waiting period from when his membership expires before he can rejoin with this deal. Read the fine print.

Edit. Too early. Have not had coffee. I meant if you canceled last month, then yes sign up under DH’s name.

No, I wouldn't either, for just that reason. But for the right bonus it'd be a good card that I'd be happy to pick up if our flying habits change. (It won't be replacing my Premier anytime soon.)

If you plan on AK last, you can easily do FOP without a FP. Just do it right at park closing no matter what the wait time says. Last time we were there the wait time said 150 minutes when we were in line no more than 30 mins.
agree...we did this last summer too.

Still not approved for Citi AA Biz. Anyone have a number I can call for Citi to see about getting approval?

I applied and was approved for this last night. Did the 50K offer and hoping to match to the 70K. Setup my login during the approval process and tried to log in, but didn't work (why am I surprised, it's Citi...>:(). Tried calling this am (1-800-950-5114; actually got someone in FL and not Bombay...) since I was worried I won't be able to get the match if the 70K offer expires this weekend (rumors) :sad2:. Said I can't register until I get the physical card, so the registration process during approval was utterly useless...:badpc:
