Well, Day 29 has come and gone (went to rofr on 8/2)..... I will be contacting the agent again tomorrow.
Is it 30 days from rofr submission OR as late as 30 days from closing, or just 30 days from rofr submission? The seller asked mid Oct closing, so can I be stuck in rofr purgatory for 2 more weeks?
The frustrating thing is I have seen several other alternative properties come and go while I have waiting. If I am going to loose it, take it so I can move on to the next!!!!

I know how you're feeling. It's worse when you see new listings come up that are just as good, if not better, than what you're waiting on to pass. There were a couple that I would have bid on had I not been waiting for ROFR. I had to stop looking at the resale sites because it was so frustrating. That being said, we were through the roof when we got the email saying we passed. Hang in there!

I wanted to update that our 100 pt AK contract has now closed!! That was super fast-41 days from the day we submitted our offer until the email this morning that we had closed. Very pleased and happy with both the resale and closing company!

They have until your closing date. There's no 30 day requirement as pertains to DVD making a decision.

We passed today 9/1. We received the email from our broker just as we were pulling into Disney World for a week of fun and relaxation. Perfect timing!!

Looks like there was a big batch of happiness from Disney today! I hope the DVC ROFR gods are not angered by all this celebrating for those still waiting. Continued pixie dust and luck. Time to move to the closing thread.
