Also, good luck Moxiemom, I don't think they are ROFR any VGF contracts right now, I've been trying for a month and a half to buy 50 Direct Points and haven't got them yet. Unless you got the seller down to $120 a point I think your contract is safe, but you never know what DVC is going to go after next.

This will be our second resale contract at VGF, it's an awesome resort.

Just got a call that we closed today. Hopefully only another week or 2 to have the points in my account. I'm up to 350 points now and I'm ready to start shopping for another contract. This is a very expensive addition. Lol.

I am thinking I am pretty safe too! I have 100 points and really looking forward to this add on so I can have enough points to reasonably stay at our home resort

I would laugh if my contract got ROFR'd and my guide called me up the next day with the 50 points Direct that we wanted. The last time we were looking for direct points, my guide called the day we passed ROFR on our first contract, which was a month and a half after we called about 150 points direct.

Posted this on the April 2017 - June 2017 ROFR post, and found out 07/28/2017 that we did not pass ROFR (I did make another offer a day later on another similar sale, so will post that here after this):

The thought did occur to me....I inquired about buying a direct 50 pt add-on, but this is a different use year so I am pretty sure I wont be losing this out to myself on this one LOL! that would be funny and painful all at once!

Good luck on the contract. I have a akl 300p @ $75. That just went into rofr too. Your contract with Fidelity?

Yes Fidelity I think I saw your contract on their site listed as pending and got jealous. 300 is what we had planned to buy but I couldn't find the right contract. Please keep me posted on if it passes - price feels very low for this time of year, but I guess if they don't need the points then they won't take it? Good luck!!

I felt like that at 22 days too!! I got my ROFR waived email at 4:30pm that day. I hope today is lucky for you too!!

This happened to us too....just told him we weren't looking to buy direct anymore and wouldn't you know never heard back from him again !
