Minnie Vans "Uber" like transport begins soon!

We did not hear a start date for the Minnie-Vans, right? And I know they didn't talk money, but I'm sure they have to charge for them. We really need more details on this.

Wonder if they will have "minnie vans" that fit groups of 8 or more (thinking 15 passenger vans, I guess). If so, my group might use it for certain things, if not, well we have no really issues using the buses/boats/monorails.

They are Chevy Traverses so no. The vehicles are on site already.

I'm actually really excited for this. I love rides like these. I was too young to experience the one in the magic kingdom but at least now I get to experience this!! Going to need another SD card with all the pictures I'm going to take from this :D

I saw something that estimated it would be $15-$20 a ride. If that's the case, they won't even come close to putting a dent in Uber's market share.

people will use it. 1) it's Disney so the kids will like it more than an uber. 2) you can probably get discounts on it, charge it to your room etc. 3) the driver will have knowledge of the parks so it will be like having your own tour guide.

they're not going to block uber it would cause an uproar, but could make it less convenient for them.

Austin, TX, blocked Uber and Lyft for a couple of years. I don't see why Disney couldn't do it, especially if they start touting the same safety concerns that the Austin City Council had. That could make Disney look really good in the eyes of protective parents.

Texas isn't known for following any sort of due process...

And Disney world is in Florida...there's no such thing as "bad sales tax" to the local and state governements there.

Uber isn't getting banned.
