Good question. I am itching to make my FP+ plans! I am going to list my faves here because with 6 of us with different preferences (+ rider switch plans) my FP+ selections require a complex spreadsheet for this visit!

Love the spreadsheet idea! LOL! Spreadsheets are so fun for planner types and they always make my husband shake his head at me! HAHAHA!

Welp, the 180 day ADR was bright and early this morning We ended up nabbing everything we wanted, even if we had to switch BOG to a different day

12.4 Skipper Canteen for lunch
12.5 Restaurant Marrakesh for lunch
12.6 50's Prime Time for dinner
12.7 Sanaa for lunch
12.9 Ragland Road for dinner
12.10 Le Cellier for lunch
12.11 Be Our Guest for lunch

Pretty stoked about it all! Now time to be a zombie at work.

Hello everyone! We're hoping to get down 12/17-12/22 - it will be our second visit- first time in multiple parks and first Christmas visit and hopefully first Christmas Party visit. We're optimistically excited, although our plans may flex some based on airline prices. The dates unfortunately, can't flex much- I have a work obligation late October through December 15th. Excited to finally celebrate the holidays though- I usually work through them and barely notice they happened. Reading your posts makes me excited!

I know the feeling! We wanted 'Ohana on our break day and I wasn't very flexible. I mentioned it above, but we didn't get 'Ohana at 5AM (party of 6, 4th day of our vacation), but I found 3 times available for our party by the end of the day. Hope it works out for you. We are now anxiously awaiting our second ADR date for our split stay.

Our main 180 is also Sunday, I have a list that includes a 8:05am BOG, a 8pm Narcoossee's, a 1900 PF breakfast and a Garden Tea Room before our last Christmas party. I have no idea what to book first because I know all of them are incredible difficult to get.

I thought I had joined the group, but can't find my post. We became official members of the December 2017 trip club over the weekend. Today is our 180 day ADR date...and I am not making a single call. This will be more of a QS trip. I may make an ADR for Ohana's or something. But that will be it. We are not doing MVMCP.

Dates: 12/03 - 12/10
Party: DW29-several times, DD11, and me

Good luck on Ohana!! We haven't been yet...have to be really careful on dining choices as my wife has Celiac Disease and has to be Gluten Free. Family-style and Buffets can be rough/risky at times. Thankfully Disney is one of the safest destinations for her!

We had two MUSTs on specific days with the schedule this time. 50's Primetime because it's the only full day we're at HS, and Sanaa as that's the day of our Party and we didn't have a good day to move it to. Skipper Canteen was a last-minute addition and replaced The Plaza.

Heck, good luck to EVERYONE who has those specific needs/times!

Probably Time Zone difference? I had to wake up at 5am to book ADRs since I'm in Central Time.

I'd say with 2 people you should be fine, I think

Oops! Both a typo and a time difference. We were able to make reservations at 5AM because we are in the Central timezone. Sorry for the confusion! I think the only reason we didn't get it right away was our party size. I hope it will be easy for you!

Okay, so today's question of the day will be another one to make you think! LOL! We are all hyped over Dining reservations as they begin to open up for more and more of us...so now it's time to think to the next thing...even though it is FOREVER away...let's play the fastpass game! Which 3 rides in each park would you love to get fastpasses at right away?!

I haven't started thinking much about FP+ yet, but that's definitely coming up on my agenda. We will have 5 children aged 6 and under in our group of 10, so meeting characters is going to be a BIG part of our trip. I could end up with Fast Passes for a lot of characters, but if I was only going to focus on rides, here are my choices:

Magic Kingdom - 7DMT, Space Mountain & Haunted Mansion (HM will probably be the ride my family rides the most - we are all Halloween fanatics & the kids can't wait)

Epcot - FEA & Soarin

AK - FoP, Safari, probably Navi

HS - ToT (LOVE!), TSM, maybe Star Tours

Do we know yet what is the latest time we can make a dinner reservation in MK on a MVMCP night without having a party ticket?

I believe the latest is 5:50 on a party night but I could be wrong. I know the park closes at 6 to non party guest and at 6, you will be asked to show your party tickets, if you do not have them you will be ushered from the park and will lose your money if it was a pre-pay dinner. I just cannot remember the exact cut off time.
