Still can't change.. I am currently booked at Contemporary Standard view Nov 16-22- TA was unable to modify. I booked FD Contemporary Garden view Nov. 16-25. Talked to CM yesterday who tried to change and couldn't, so she sent a request to guest services to edit the dates because her system kept having glitches. She said I would get a confirmation email of the change. Now still nothing. Does this mean that they aren't going to change it???????

If anyone sees Cont. or Poly Nov. 16-22 I can just book a whole new reservation. ANY help is appreciated. Taking my mom for her 65th and DS for his 7th. Her only request was to try a monorail resort- she hasn't been in 20 years.

Right now I'm only seeing room on Contemporary for room. NO Poly . FD at GF $6966

Disney Website....are they not showing up for you? I just plugged in your dates clicked the free dining offer and they came up.

Try clearing your browser (Control+Shift+Backspace) and entering your search again

Also, for the Contemporary you have to scroll all the way down past the first offers to get to the ones that have availability.

I've been lurking here since the start of the thread. First thanks to all for the rumors which turned out to be true and seeing the commradery here has been truly wonderful! I stayed up all night with you guys and even joined ******* to see the dining drop even though I have a TA. I wanted to see if I could get a better deal. My TA was great last year but this year she seemed fed up with me and trying to get the best deal whether it be FD or AP she was just annoyed. So that's another reason I thought let me see if I can do this myself. So I have BC GV MYW pkg booked at the rates prior to February increase. There wasn't anything for FD that would save me money. I found BWI STD view and even at the new rates it was cheaper by 1600 than my BC last year pkg. So I booked it just in case. It was also 600 cheaper than a PKG with an exclusive deal at BC as well. Then after texting and emailing my TA at 6am she emailed me at 7ish saying there are no BC rooms for FD for my room. But for 80 more On my original PKG price I can get DLX CL at BC. I'm celebrating my 20th Anniversary, my son turns 12 two days into our trip, and my daughter's sweet 16th. So I thought that's a good deal. It doesn't save off my original PKG but it is a svgs compared to the normal rate of 1500. What should I do? I have BWI STD FD for 5200 for 6n/7d, 5 day PH for 5 people (4 are considered adults). I also have my TA new offer of BC Deluxe club level for 6900. Which is 80 over my original PKG with her. I booked originally for what I wanted and could afford. I wanted to save something if I could FD was the on top. But I really like that svgs at BWI I need some opinions what would you choose? BWI or DlxCL BC all with FD. Of those that stayed in these which did you prefer? Thanks everyone!!!

I tried, but when I click off of room and on the free dining offer, the availability goes away. Ahhhh

For some reason if your on the USA the rooms are unavailable.

I was able to modify my CBR reservation for FD and upgrade to DDP, so happy! Ready for Sept to be here (not that I want to wish my summer away..)
So grateful for this thread for the wonderful information. This will be mine and my husband's first Disney trip (and going alone!)- hope to take the girls next year- maybe on a bounceback.

I was one of the people who had no luck yesterday but tried adding a day today and got it! POR 9/20-9/28. Just some encouragement to those who haven't had success yet. Now to try to drop that extra day since our flights are already booked based on our prior reservation. Anyone have any luck dropping a day? I'd like to keep it but hate for the kids to miss more school. MD schools have off for Jewish holidays so we tried to schedule it over some days off but this would be an extra school day.

Also, any strong feelings regarding POR vs. BC? We almost decided to switch to a TA pkg for BC before this recent development. Good luck to all who are still searching for FD!

I'm deciding on this too! I'm leaning toward Sports since it is $100 cheaper and I can apply that savings to Memory Maker. Just a thought.

Long time lurker here. I got FD for boardwalk inn standard room. Does anyone know why there is such availability for this one? Will I be disappointed in the boardwalk? Its our first visit.

Boardwalk is a great choice. In fact, we changed our original reservation from the Beach Club to Boardwalk to take advantage of the FD. We've stayed at the Boardwalk many times before and loved it. Great location to Epcot and DHS.

Hmmmm I wonder if you can....For fun I just booked one under the US/English heading, but I am in Canada.....maybe try changing to Canada/English and see if it will let you book too....

Ok so I just did a test to see if they do inflate prices for FD and I don't think they do. I booked Nov 14-18, POP standard room with 4 day PH & not upgrading the DP and after taxes it came to $1008.67. I just did the exact same package with no discounts and it was the exact same price.

We have had our room booked for several weeks at Pop for Dec 9-14 with 5 day PH tickets. Standard room rate. We added free dining yesterday and the price didn't change at all!
