Add me to the list disappointed with the DV. I still haven't received an email, and can only access the Visa offer through the link that has been posted. It won't show on the Disney World site for me even though I have my DV saved in my profile. Are others seeing the Visa offer on the Disney site?

I never received a Disney Visa email today either. The offer sometimes appears on the Disney site and not at other times. Doesn't a seem to matter if I look on my phone or on my laptop, it just goes in and out. The whole thing is odd!

Ugh. Just spent an hour on the phone with booking, they're apparently having system problems, and got disconnected when put on hold.

Now they're closed, and I'm out of luck.

I do see the DV offer on the special offers page. I'm currently showing 16 offers.

And now I FINALLY found availability for what I wanted most and when I go to checkout it says online checkout is unavailable at this time. Ugh! Got my hopes up for nothing. I booked ASMu family suite this morning and will settle for it, but wanted a mod standard to save a little $.

Here is what my TA email me this morning. I am going Sept 20-30 3 Adults and 1 infant. "I was able to get Free Dining for both of your reservations. The POR reservation comes out to $6888.93 and the Sports came out $5193.15. I’m guessing you want to go with the Sports one?!?! That is with Deluxe dining." Of Course I went with sports and it is preferred room.

Deluxe dining (DDxP)???? That's a massive jump from Quick Service. Does she mean Disney Dining Plan (DDP) That's what is given to deluxe resorts in free dining. Deluxe Dining Plan (DDxP) is 3 TS meals per day and snacks.

What am I doing wrong. I am all over the web site and I see nothing for any mods. I am trying for 9/30-10/7 all resorts 1 adult and 1 Disney adult and I am getting nothing. I tried selecting the offer and checking for availability and I tried doing a room search and then clicking on the escape discount only to see all the availability disappear. How are you seeing the available rooms?

First I clicked places to stay, then view special offers. I then scrolled down to the bottom of the page and clicked "Enjoy an Enchanted Escape and Save up to 25% on Rooms at select Disney Resort Hotels". I click " Check availabilty" on the right and then enter in your dates 9/30 - 10/7 and enter 1 adult and 1 child age 10. Not sure of the childs age but 10 is Disney adult. All the available resorts for the offer come up on screen and about half way down the page is POR. I see Pool, King, Preferred and River available.

If I can only get a free dining package for 5 nights, but I add another night or two of room only reservations on a separate reservation, can I use the dining credits for the rest of my stay? Or only until last day of free dining reservation? Thanks in advance!

Midnight of last day of free dining res I'm afraid. But you could use snack credits on food that will last a few days to eat on your RO days. Don't forget to try for a RO discount and pocket that money to go towards your oop food costs.

It's All Star Movies that is excluded in FD.

I also added it to a package when booking and was only charged the $200 deposit.

I never received anything from DV. No links, emails, nothing. Very disappointing.

I was able to get my rooms for free dining!!! Woohoo!! I was on at about 5:40 am EST (3:40 for me in Mountain) and was finished before 6:00 am!! I was booking two rooms at AS Sports, which is what I wanted, ended up getting standard rooms which again is what I wanted (cheap as possible is the name of the game for this trip). This will be a sister and kids trip, so 2 adults and 4 kids and we are super excited! However, in all my drowsy excitement I accidently booked my room for one extra day. So far today I have been unable to change that in my reservation, I keep getting "no availability" which is odd since it is available for 6 nights but not 5?? If all else fails, I should be able to call and get an agent to drop my extra day without having to rebook the reservation, correct? Thanks in advance for any insight.

Just curious was it available online before you called and you just weren't able to get it modify online? Or was it not available and you called to see what they could do? Was it due to the Disney agents help that you were able to get it?

Did you have to modify an existing reservation or did you have to get new ones?

We had an existing reservation and they modified it. I never had the change reservation button online.

I am feeling rather grumpy today. I checked out the FD offer and, as expected it didnt work out for me- Nothing available at POR and only higher cost rooms at other resorts on my list and I was not willing to spend more to get FD.

I had expected my TA to be trying to book me the room only discount for my current res. They talk about how they will work hard to book a discount when they come available so, since I didnt have her trying for FD for me (I was checking it out on my own) I expected her to be booking me a room discount. Well...not only did I not get FD I also didnt even get the 20% off on my room. I now am stuck with rack rate . I am grumpy, grumpy, grumpy! and I dont feel like my TA was working hard for me after all. Had I known that my TA wasnt up early trying to book me a discount I would have made sure to do it myself first rather than wasting time poking around the FD offer that I was already pretty sure wasnt going to work for me. grumpy

Can you book it yourself or not available?

Not the mugs, they have a chip in them that allow them to work for like two weeks or more. We were there the week leading up to Christmas and the pop machines said that ours were good until sometime in early January

I feel like if I had 12,000 grand to drop a year on vacation I wouldn't spend it all at disney or at least I'd go DVC.

I would get DVC if I could but I dont have 12 grand I wish LOL but I am saving every thing I can for this trip.
