Bummed, I guess this was too good to be true. Resaler says Disney has become very aggressive at buying back points, trying to keep prices up.

Boo. I'm sorry. I feel your pain! I can't remember where I saw it, but they keep buying back April BLT contracts. I wouldn't waste too much time analyzing it, but I did notice that.

Interesting loaded contract - the only way I can think of to get that mixture of points is if the 150/2016 points were actually banked 2015 points. The 300/2017 could then be banked 2016 & current 2017 points.
Looks like the previous owners didn't use the contract much in the last few years, but were savvy enough to bank the points.

Congrats! That's a comparable price to the others. The available points have cash value, so you're well within the norm for BCV. Welcome home (soon!)

When did Disney reach out to you about the amendment? Wonder when they first take a look at them and how long they have them sit.

I had a similar situation and got a message from the broker 2 days after first being sent to ROFR, so someone from Disney must do an initial screening right away.

Sorry it was taken and agree with you on price being too good to be true. Using previous broker for the 50 we are waiting on and we were told usually anything under 105 is prime for being taken if that helps any on future contacts.

Ours was $106, and they took it. I think it depends on what they are looking for as far as UY as well as ppp. Only Disney knows what Deals they are putting together, so we all get to speculate or just keep bidding low and hope one makes it through.

TexasChick, what UY was yours? I can't find it on the first page. Now I'm getting really nervous because we were at $106. Someone posted a link in this forum about UY distributions by resort and I think Feb UY accounts for more than 1/3 of all BLT contracts, so perhaps if you were in another UY and Disney had a buyer who was waitlisted for direct points? In any event, I'm definitely seeing that $105-106 pp is right on the edge of Disney exercising ROFR. Hope you find another contract soon!

So true ! If you look at page 1 some are taken at 110 others at lower points ....guess it depends on what the dart hits when they throw it at the ROFR board !

Lets hope 3rd time is a charm. I know I'm overpaying, but I'm tired of loosing contracts to the mouse. I am consoling myself with the fact that the seller is paying all closing costs/fees.

Yay we passed! Can't believe they took our stripped contract and passed on this one! But we are very happy as this is a better contract for us than the one they took. So now we have to decide whether to rent out the banked 2016 points or sneak in an extra trip!

It was June UY. I posted it, but I think it got missed. How dare Pangygal miss one?!? I'm obviously kidding as running and updating this thread is a huge undertaking.

Doing the happy dance in San Antonio....just got an email from the broker Disney has waived ROFR!
