***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Oh, my goodness! That went much better than I expected. I got everything I wanted within about 5-10 minutes of the time I had planned, with the exception of FEA. I wanted 4:30 but ended up with 6:50, right after our dinner at Akershus. We can listen to the Norway Storytellers at 6:30, do FEA, then have plenty of time to line up at 7:45 for the 8:15 Candlelight Processional.

I'm so glad to hear everybody else got what they wanted too, pretty much at least. :)

Here are my plans:

Wow, teaching crochet classes the past two weekends really gotAt least I did manage to download the lovely graphic tags we can use to recognize each other.

Tried to edit the quote but the site was NOT cooperating. . . what's this about graphic tags to recognize each other? I searched the thread and could only find this reference.

12/9. It's been too long now. I dropped it probably an hour ago and did just like I did with the CP swapperoo. I booked something else to make it kick right back in, but even after 20 minutes of me obsessively checking, it never popped back up to book. Oh well, still got lots of time. That will be my mantra while I mourn my ADR loss!
Absolutely sucks... Hope that you will be able to find another one soon!

I can't find the picture right now but maybe @SilSprBea can post it. She got someone from the creative boards to design a tag for us which we can print and hang on bags so we recognize each other.

Things that still need to be accomplished --
1. Finalize all of our ADR's. I have two that I'm debating whether or not I want to keep.
2. Book our dogs stay at their "resort and spa" for while we are gone. "Bauserhaus"
3. Book the Parking Spot at the airport
4. Start packing our non essentials
5. Finalize MB colors
6. Wait.:faint:

I have a decision for our first day that I could use opinions on. Our first day we are doing a resort crawl and hopefully will hit WL, FW, Poly, GF, and CR. It's a MVMCP night at MK. I currently have a California Grill ADR at 9:30pm where I didn't plan to order meals, but maybe drinks and desserts to watch the Holiday Wishes. I'm rethinking this, for a couple reasons. Here are my proposed options:

1. Just focus on the resort crawl and not try to see Holiday Wishes at all. Would you even recommend pre-watching the Holiday Wishes like this? We are going to be at a MVMCP during our trip and get to see them up close and personal. Would I be kind of "spoiling" it for us if we see them from a distance first and here the music and everything? Or am I completely overthinking this like I do everything else. :rolleyes1 This option leaves us more freedom to tour the resorts in a different order than I currently scheduled. And maybe we could end up at FW after dark and do a sleigh ride...
2. Do a Wishes Fireworks cruise that night for $45/person. I've already seen someone post that they are looking to fill spots on a cruise that night. :sail: Would this be a better option? It may be more expensive, or it may not. I'm not sure what exactly we'd order at California Grill.
3. Keep the current plan of the California Grill reservation.

The party fireworks are amazing! I don't think you'd be spoiling them by viewing them more than once. It'll be a different perspective for you from inside the park.

- Do more research on MVMCP to sort out what my must-do's are (oh man, anyone else excited to see Stacy on the hotel TV when they arrive?? It's the very first thing I do when I enter the room!)

Turning on Disney TV is the first thing we usuallly do when we get to the room.

Although, last night I read a thread from someone who just experienced confirmed bedbugs (complete with pictures) at one of the All Stars (thread title has All Star Nightmare or something in the title, if anyone wants to read). So we'll probably do a bedbug inspection before taking anything into the room, even though we're not staying at that particular resort.

The only things I really have left to do are decide on the MVMCP and figure out what to do at AK if ROL is running. Well, there is the standard thing of deciding which Disney-themed t-shirts to bring and stuff. But that will be done much closer to the trip.

Ah why don't they make this bigger? I'd totally wear this shirt.

I know, me too! They don't have anything for girls or women! Sucks...

4. Start packing our non essentials

I have a little pile of non essentials like ziplock bags and wipes, tissues... I really need to iron my mountain of clothes in the side and see what other summer gear I can put aside! :P

Just putting it out there that you can watch by the boat dock of Narcoosee's (w/o a reservation) or beach at Poly or 4th floor at CR. I think it'll be great to concentrate on your resort crawl and watch Wishes wherever you are at. Don't need to keep the reservation at Cali Grill if you can't think of anything to order there. OR you can just order a drink at Cali Grill ;)
I would just like to say that if DHS would do two showings of jibjab on my night, it would solve all my H&V problems. Just throwing it out there into the universe in hopes it sticks! :rolleyes1
Hah! This is exactly what I thought of to watch jibjab for a second time. I have a 5:30pm for Flying Fish that night and was thinking if there's a second show, I'd probably head there after dinner since park now closes at 9pm!

AHHH the bed bugs were at my resort!!! :scared1: I will definitely be reading up on bedbug inspection now!

Lisa F added it to our 3rd post in this thread so it doesn't get buried! It's really cool tag that you are welcome to print out, laminate and display... you can tie it to your bag, attach it to your stroller ,etc. Go to the following URL

Yep, one of our ADR's corresponds with ROL (if it comes to fruition)... otherwise, we're headed to Epcot for EMH!

I'm still debating what to do for our MVMCP day! It's also the day we check into AKL. If the weather cooperates, should we just hang at the resort, swim, eat at the Mara and head to MK around 4? Or, should we check in early, drop our bags with Bell Services, and go to AK for lunch and some touring? I'm not sure we'd do any rides, but we'd take some time to look at the animals? Lastly, should we spend some time in DS? I cancelled our Boathouse lunch last week.

OMG this grosses me out. How do we get rid of bedbugs if we find them? :scared1:

If you find them in your room, snap a picture, and then walk to the front desk and show them the picture. They will take it from there. If you find them in your home, Google is your friend.

My son adores "Disney Must Do's", and I think Stacy has something to do with that! He knows the entire script, what is shown next, etc. And it is on while he passes out at the end of the day! ; )

Yikes--thanks for the bed bugs heads-up--I guess THAT will be my first "MUST DO" as well!
