By chance were you at the 5k limit before it was lifted? I remember reading somewhere that previously used gc's are still tied to the 5k per 180 day limit.

Ahhh...this could be the case. I wasn't at the limit but about $50 away. I guess I'll just wait to hear back from eBay...if that happens.

I'm having terrible luck this morning.

I was able to get in one order for a $100 Target GC with the coupon before GCM sold out; but when I tried for 2x$50 on my wife's account moments later, like @CalDisneyMomof2, I kept getting the "We can't apply this code to your order" error (using brand new gift card codes). Separately, Target canceled an order for $200 eBay GCs plus personal care items.

ETA: On the upside, Ebates credited me for the canceled Target order. Fingers crossed they don't correct it before the payout!

Sorry for your rotten luck! I haven't had an order cancelled in months BUT ebates has never taken the money back from the ones that were cancelled.

Try logging out and logging back in to eBay, that has worked for me in the past. Others have mentioned trying a different browser. I have two eBay accounts linked to two different PP accounts and when I switch to a different account I use a different browser to avoid any possible confusion. Hope that helps!

Anyone else not so much into Swagbucks anymore? Don't get me wrong, I love the free gift cards, but my patience has been wearing thin with surveys lately and with earning $200 Ebay Bucks this quarter just from purchases, it seems like it's not really worth my time as much as it used to be!

My order was canceled in its entirety about an hour or so ago, and the money is back on my gift cards. I don't know if they were ever charged.

Yeah that's what happened to some people on Slick Deals. I would keep an eye on your spending and then try to use it later.

Thanks for the excellent idea of using this for the Staples card. I was so focused on Target gift cards that I wasn't even considering other options. I didn't want to use an eBay gift card in case a bonus offer came through this week so I just used some non-Disney money in my PayPal account. There's always something I can use at Staples.

I was out all day and just saw the promotion too. I decided to get he staples card instead of 2 of the target for $50. I never got a staples ecard before though. Have you just shown the code on your phone or printed out a voucher when you went to use it? I, too, can always use something from Staples.

This is the first time I bought a Staples e-gift card. The instructions say you can either print it out and give it to the cashier or bring it up on your phone and they can scan the barcode. You can also use it online which is what I'll probably do. I'll probably buy k-cups with it.

Looks like the $50s are sold out so I opted for $150. In my haste to check out before those were gone, I forgot the coupon code. So, I converted $100 Target GC and spent $52.99 from PP for nothing it seems, but at least I'll get the shipping amount back in ebucks. Since I only had $73 left in PP and not enough time on the coupon to order more eBay GCs, I opted for a $50 eBay GC and a $25 D&B GC for $60 OOP. That basically gets me a $25 D&B GC for $10 and then I will use it with a buy $20, get $20 D&B coupon for $40 D&B credit. I cannot believe I forgot the code, but it just goes to show how many steps there are and how easy it is to miss something. At least I remembered to go through my portals!

Yes! I use it as a buying portal only, mostly for Ebay and Disney Store. I got tired of spending 10 minutes in a survey, answering all sorts of questions, only to "not qualify" and get 1 SB. That's equal to what? A penny? I'd rather spend that 10 minutes doing something else.

Crazy day today. I wasn't planning on a decent promotion today and haven't started churning for my trip in August. I have about $150 in Gamestop trade credit from flipping games. Since it's only a 5 hour sale and it takes about an hour for the gift cards to activate, I had to drive from my job to Gamestop during lunch to buy the GC, wait for it to activate, and then buy the Target Cards before they sell out.

At least I'm on the right track and I've started my churning for my trip.

I remember seeing Ebay GC's at Best Buy from what I remember, so if the Target GC's are sold out, I'm assuming you can buy Best Buy and Gamestop gift cards with that same promo and churn Ebay gift cards from there to get the $15 off.

I saw on the FAQ on Paypal that you can have 2 Paypal accounts per checking account. I setup a paypal for my husband that is tied to his Ebay account and I have one for me tied to my Ebay account. Both Paypal accounts are tied to the same checking account. Any thoughts on whether being tied to the same checking account (even though 2 separate paypal accounts) would create any flags when trying to take advantage of promotions like the one today? Or issues with doubling up on Ebucks if one account reaches the full $500 in a quarter?
