Waiting for Rest of Fall 2015 Room Only Discount

I was booked at Animal Kingdom but Orbitz has either Caribbean or Coronado at more than half the price. Since this is only a 4 day trip I can't pass that up. Now to decide which hotel, lol.

We managed to get the 15% off discount for our CBR stay but we had to switch to water view rooms. Thankfully my cousin was up extra early with her kids and spotted it so she called me!

I have this super annoying glitch with the WDW site. Does anyone know how to get around this error. I can not seem to change the # of days on a ticket (or add park hopper) when trying to make a reservation. Whatever the default is (for RO it is 5 day ticket for my trip and Kid Size Package is 2 days) I can select a different number of days and add park hopper, but it doesn't actually change it. Neither of these offers require a certain amount of days so I should be able to change it. I've tried with both Chrome and Firefox. I already booked a package so I guess I will need to call to change the number of days. But, I would love to know for future use.

I am happy to find I was able to get a discount off the Grand Floridian room I had booked for 2 nights at rack rate.

Since I'd never stayed there, I decided I wanted to stay there and was going to try to book through Orbitz and cancel with Disney if there wasn't any rooms discounted at the Grand. I'm glad I don't have to.

I like the rooms at BWI better than the studios. I think they feel bigger without the kitchenette. Plus at the Inn you'll be closer to Epcot!

Yes - I got an extra $338.72 off because of the 48hrsale promo! And that was on top of the 'up to 25%' that it was already discounted!

I have a reservation at POR 11/11-17 and my TA said there was no availability to change to the RO discount. He said none of his clients have been able to get the discount anywhere similar to what happened when Free Dining came out, there was no availability. We weren't counting on the discount but it would have been nice. I can get it a little cheaper through Orbitz, but I like the cancel option and I want my TA to get paid for all of his work.

Looks like 11/11 is your problem. Could you book one 11/11 at rack and the rest at the discount?

There's not really any particular deal. They just tend to discount the rooms when the Disney discounts come out, plus they pretty much always have a 10% or 15% (or rarely a 20%) coupon code floating around.

The discount code from today through July 22 is "48hrsale" to save an additional 15%.

This is an annual pass newbie question: could there be additional discounts released for AP holders, or are the general discounts released today pretty much going to be it?

Maybe check again? A lot of the rates went live late apparently, the ones I was watching were like that.

Where do I find a code for orbitz? I just looked into POR/ Royal/ River and I think it was more expensive then Disney!

I have never booked a room for disney though Orbitz. Is there any con to it? I assume I can attach the ressie to MDE and keep my reservation for the ME?

I had 7 nights at POR booked for December (with the new discount) and was able to save $194 more by cancelling and going through Orbitz. Then I just went on Orbitz chat and added my daughter back onto the reservation and got the number I needed to connect it to MDE.
