we decided to see some of my favorite Disney characters:

I just love the beauty surrounding this pavillion:

We saw a lonely Photopass photographer and asked him if he would mind taking a picture of us with my camera since we weren't doing PP for just one day. He gladly obliged:

We then started the walk over the bridge towards the United Kingdom:

Soon we were seeing my ALL TIME favorite characters:

Some of the other flowers in the United Kingdom:

And you didn't really think that just because it ws only a one day trip, that I was going to miss out on seeing Tigger, did you? I would hope not!

As we exited the shop and headed towards Canada, we saw Captain Hook (I totally missed Peter Pan on the roof ).

and the UK's menu:

And saw these guys standing guard:

Mark had to have a picture of this little guy taking a stroll:

We slowly made our way up towards Future World as we knew we still had a few things to see before we had to leave for our drive to Daytona Beach.

Up next: Hey, it's Mike Wazowski

Great suitcase! I can't believe the wedding is so soon!

I thought the same thing about the Lady and the Tramp topiary. Lady looks a little evil?

Great hat Mr. Mark.:lovestruc

love all your photos! its great they add something new every year!

:rotfl: about the Lady topiary....she looks like "will you hurry up and take the dang photo" :rotfl:

looks like snacking around the world was fun! great you got your two favorites!

know you are getting excited for the trip with the girls and of course the wedding, they will be here before you know it!

Hi Kathy! I'm all caught up here - I love all your topiary shots - so nice the two of you could be in many of them, too! Love the the train track shot of the kids! Your trip and then the wedding are just around the corner!

That suitcase must be the best Mother's Day gift ever - unless it were a grandchild! :rotfl2: Adorable!

I loved the Beauty and the Beast topiaries !!! Sooo awesome !! I missed the Twinning tea ones when we were there though !! Love those !!

The Smokehouse was really good. This coming from a girl that was not fond of BBQ. :cool1:

Missed the moose in Canada.....:sad2:

I have to say that this one looked a little off to me. :confused3
It is definitely her ears.

Had we not just eaten lunch in Norway and Mark not nibbled on caramels, we would have stopped here for lunch. It looked like something we would enjoy and smelled really, really good:
I don't think some minor detail like a full stomach would stop me. :rotfl2:

I took a picture of everyone's favorite Toy Story character
Hey! That's not Rex! :rotfl2::lmao:

Mark decided he had a taste for ice cream and this is what he came back with from a little stand in France
Beer and caramel... popcorn... orange slush... ice cream... I want to go to World Showcase with you and Mark!

And you didn't really think that just because it ws only a one day trip, that I was going to miss out on seeing Tigger, did you? I would hope not!
I assumed it was a given. Kind of like a stop by a Starbucks. :rotfl2::lmao:

Here's a fun picture for those of you who I am not friends with on FB. I'm posting an "engagement" picture a day for the last 30 days. This was today's picture:

Great picture! :thumbsup2

We then strolled over to America. A kid favorite was there to greet us:

Because every kid loves a psychotic evil bear! :woohoo:

Had we not just eaten lunch in Norway and Mark not nibbled on caramels, we would have stopped here for lunch. It looked like something we would enjoy and smelled really, really good:

If I'd known there was a BBQ smokehouse there, I'd have skipped Norway!:rotfl:

Then it was time for one of Mark's favorite things to do at Disney...listen to the Voices of Liberty perform:

Another good call.

And you didn't really think that just because it ws only a one day trip, that I was going to miss out on seeing Tigger, did you? I would hope not!

Why would I think that? What a load of Pooh.:rotfl:

Beer and caramel... popcorn... orange slush... ice cream... I want to go to World Showcase with you and Mark!

::yes:: :lmao::rotfl2:

As we exited the shop and headed towards Canada, we saw Captain Hook (I totally missed Peter Pan on the roof ).

Love this picture! What an awesome afternoon in Epcot. Perfect weather. Perfect snack. Perfect topiaries. You really got a lot of nice photos. :thumbsup2

Oh - and that last engagement picture is pretty darn cute.

I'll be back with replies later (we were at wedding last night, Mark had to get up at 5:15 this morning to drive 90 minutes away for 11 baseball games this weekend) and I'm trying to get the house clean as I only have two weekends left at home to do it -- June 1 weekend I'll be in Dubuque for Bridal Shower and Bachlorette Party, the weekend after that in Florida and then the following weekend is the wedding).

Here is today's countdown photo -- 27 days:

what a cute photo of Mark and Alisha, hard to believe their wedding is almost here!

Thanks, Lisa; four weeks from right now they'd be married 24 hours. :rotfl:

i love all the pictures!!! Did Lot's O smell like strawberry?!?!?
keep up this great report!!!

Yes, Lot'sO did smell like strawberry actually.

Great suitcase! I can't believe the wedding is so soon!

Neither can I, believe me.

I thought the same thing about the Lady and the Tramp topiary. Lady looks a little evil?

Evil is good; she looks like she is high by her eyes.

Great hat Mr. Mark.:lovestruc

:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

love all your photos! its great they add something new every year!

I've see photos, but it is not the same as seeing it in person.

:rotfl: about the Lady topiary....she looks like "will you hurry up and take the dang photo" :rotfl:

She definitely does not look happy to be there.

looks like snacking around the world was fun! great you got your two favorites!

NEVER miss a favorite or I'm a crabby girl.

know you are getting excited for the trip with the girls and of course the wedding, they will be here before you know it!

I started packing today...I couldn't wait any longer.

Hi Kathy! I'm all caught up here - I love all your topiary shots - so nice the two of you could be in many of them, too! Love the the train track shot of the kids! Your trip and then the wedding are just around the corner!

I posted a message to you on another thread...Marv's maybe?...I hope things are okay.

The topiaries were stunning. The PP guys were very cooperative in doing them for us without us having a PP card.

That's one of my favorite pictures of the kids on the train track. They are both coming up so fast.

That suitcase must be the best Mother's Day gift ever - unless it were a grandchild! :rotfl2: Adorable!

You could be very right on that.

Oh yes, it did! ::yes:: I remember it well! Makes me want barbecue right now!

Darn...I'm sorry we didn't get something; I love bbq.

I loved the Beauty and the Beast topiaries !!! Sooo awesome !! I missed the Twinning tea ones when we were there though !! Love those !!

If I had to pick a favorite, Beauty & The Beast probably would have been it.

France is not my favorite pavilion, but man does it have good drinks and snacks!

Oh, I love France...it's so beautiful. I'm not sure there is a pavilion I don't like...they are all so unique. It has very good snacks and drinks. :)

The Smokehouse was really good. This coming from a girl that was not fond of BBQ. :cool1:

Well, now we have to go back next year and hope it is there again.

Missed the moose in Canada.....:sad2:

We almost missed him too but then Mark found it and called me over.

Wonderful photos! :)

Thank you. :goodvibes

It is definitely her ears.

I think it is the ears and the eyes.

I don't think some minor detail like a full stomach would stop me. :rotfl2:

Next time, I won't!

Hey! That's not Rex! :rotfl2::lmao:

Okay...I should have said "my favorite".

Beer and caramel... popcorn... orange slush... ice cream... I want to go to World Showcase with you and Mark!

Anytime...we'd love to have you.

I assumed it was a given. Kind of like a stop by a Starbucks. :rotfl2::lmao:

You are a hoot!

Great picture! :thumbsup2

Thank you.

Because every kid loves a psychotic evil bear! :woohoo:

But they all seem too...there were kids getting all excited when they saw him. :confused3

If I'd known there was a BBQ smokehouse there, I'd have skipped Norway!:rotfl:

I wish I had known....we should have started on the Canada side. :(

Another good call.

Totally agree...they are brilliant!

Why would I think that? What a load of Pooh.:rotfl:

Now that is funny.

::yes:: :lmao::rotfl2:

Please do not encourage him!

Love this picture! What an awesome afternoon in Epcot. Perfect weather. Perfect snack. Perfect topiaries. You really got a lot of nice photos. :thumbsup2

Thanks, MEK. The day really could not have been more perfect.

Oh - and that last engagement picture is pretty darn cute.

Thank you. :goodvibes

So we have finished up World Showcase and were heading to Future World as we had a few more stops we wanted to make before we had to start our drive to Daytona for the night.

Along the way, we saw these:

(this is where they had the dole whip with rum in it)

Another food menu:

And then we saw him:

Yep, it was Mike Wazowski and his buddy:

More pictures of floating flowers:

We totally skipped the Oz area: it was crowded and I'm really not sure I want to see it. The Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite movie and I just don't think I'd like this new one.

Moving on, we came across characters from one of my favorite movies:

We then stopped in the Butterfly garden and saw Tink and all her friends. I'm just going to post the pictures because I have no idea of the names of the other fairies:

Continued in next post

Continued from previous post:

More butterfly house photos:

We stopped in Mousegears and made a few purchases and then we headed for one last attraction, my dad's favorite, Spaceship Earth:

And then it was time to leave. As much as we didn't want to, we had to get on the road to Daytona. Before we exited Epcot, we said goodbye to these guys:

Up next, arrival at Daytona Beach and a few days of business before Nickiland

LOVE the Monster's topiaries! and the one of Goofy with the sun behind him is very cool! so happy you got to experience Epcot and enjoy your treats!

I usually start packing a couple weeks out for our WDW trips too, this time I'm going to ship down a box since we are going for 13 days, going to need some extra stuff and its cheaper than paying the baggage fees :faint:
