2012 Free Dining Watch and Wait HERE

Mousesavers is usually pretty accurate. I am thinking that is right. I know in 2010 I got a pin for free dining for fall...but I don't remember it going to Visa holders first before th public. I could be wrong. I haven't looked at Mousesavers recently, but they are usually right on with everything.

Mousesavers is pretty accurate and I like their site and use their site, but it doesn't mean they don't miss things sometimes, especially with the amount of data that they have to keep up with, but there was most definitely a free dining offer for Disney Visa holders on July 3, 2010, that was for October - December dates. I blog for two different Disney Planning Blogs, exclusively about free dining and everything that goes along with free dining. Daily, I comb many, many Disney planning sites and blogs about free dining info, rumors, etc. I have a long list of specifics I keep about free dining promos and I know, personally, I added that free dining code to my December 2010 trip on July 3, 2010. The August free dining promo from last year, 2011, is the only time Disney Visa holders have not gotten a free dining offer before the general public.

Of course, anything is possible with Disney, but I will be SHOCKED if they don't have a Disney Visa offer tomorrow morning for free dining.

Just checked the Visa site, didn't see anything about Free Dining. This is our first year with the card so I'm still trying to learn the site. I looked under "limited time offers". Should I be checking somewhere else?

It's just not there yet. I just got off the phone with Disney and got free dining for late October trip!

The girl I spoke with had to put me on hold a couple of times so she could call guest services. The first time, she called to see if there was a deal because she couldn't find one. Then when she got the code, it was saying it was free, but it was adding the QSDP at full price. She called back and they fixed it. It is definitely out today, but things aren't running smoothly yet. Give them a call and be persistent.

Same here - where are you seeing this? The Disney Visa site says nothing.

It's not on the site yet. If you call WDW at 407-939-7675 you can get the details from the CM. The DIS usually has the scoop before any official announcement.

yes it is for sure, free dining for Visa holders. She also confirmed free dining for the public on thursday.

Heads up for people wanting to book at a mod... standard rooms are POR and POFQ are NOT included in the DV FD offer. You will have to upgrade to a garden view or higher to add the FD at those two resorts. Standards are included at CSR and CBR though.

I believe it is August 25- September 29th but I could be wrong. We are staying last week of August and are getting the Free DP (we had to book by the middle of May though and we are in Canada so dont know if there is a difference).

Yes. A free dining package requires a package purchase of a 3 night minimum stay and 2-day base tickets for everyone on the reservation ages 3 and up.

I was told that everything garden view or higher was included. Standard is cheapest and garden view is next. He told me that even the new Royal Rooms are included.

This can be confusing! We have always traveled during the September FD, but this year we are going in December (8-15). Do we get it from the 10th to the end of our stay? do we need to purchase separate tickets? Check in twice? Sheesh.. it can't just be an easy thing, can it...
