Oh this is just a little question.

My dear friends have just sent me a wonderful DVD and I don't have a DVD player yet. I hope to take my new DVD with me when I will be at The Boardwalk villas. I will be in a one bedroom beginning 12/08.

I think I heard that these units just got new DVD players. Is that correct ?

Is it possible to see and hear the TV, While I'm soaking in the hot tub ?

Oh! This will be pure luxury !!

If convenience and luxury are what you are after, BWV will not dissappoint!

Not only can you see the TV from the hot tub, you can actually reach into the kitchen and re-fill your coffee from the hot tub!

You can reach in and grab a beer from the fridge while you are out on the balcony!!!

Some people call those units tiny, I think Disney had luxury and convenience in mind.

In the new spirit of humor being disparraged, I guess I need to add a discmaimer.

Disclaimer: You can't actually reach into the fridge from the balcony or reach into the kitchen from the hot tub. While I do believe the units are tiny and really unusable, I was using exageration as a tool for humor. I apologize in advance for any feelings I may have hurt.

LOL!

I think you'll be ok with viewing the TV from the jacuzzi. There is a set in the bedroom, but I can't remember if the DVD player is also there (it's on the LR one). I don't use the tv much so am not the best resource for you.

Have a great time and enjoy your stay! :D

Richyams - You never disappoint me with your humor. I seldom read a post that makes me laugh out-loud like yours do! You are always spot on! When ever my husband hears me laughing while on the computer he says "What are you laughing at?" I always reply, "It's just one of Richyams posts!"

I own at BWVs and love them. I stayed in a one bedroom in August and it did not have a DVD. You can hear the TV but unless your back is to the faucet you can't see it.

We were in a 1 bedroom in Oct (BWV_luna pool) and had no DVD player in either room. From our hot tub you could watch TV in the bedroom without the faucet in your back, so I guess it depends on the room you get if the faucet is in your back. Only the LR will get the new DVD players.:wave2:

Were they in the middle of changing them out during Oct? We too were at BWV in a one bedroom in Oct with a luna pool view :p (the 19-24) and we had a dvd player in the living room - actually it was a combo dvd/vcr.

I think it would be hard to see the tv in the living room, but the one in the bedroom is definately viewable.

We were in a one bedroom BWV 10/25 - 11/01 and had the vcr/DVD combo in the living room. We had the Swan/canal view.
