Hi everyone! I just got a call this week that my name came up on the waitlist so I will be joining in all the fun - travelling with me is hubby John. I am very excited to be going on a Member Cruise cuz I love to meet other DVCers and I enjoy my DVC since it helps me get to "my happy place" a few times a year!!!
I am interested in joining in one of the brunches if there's an opening but I can't find a thread that is not closed already. I do help host DVC chat when I'm in town and I am looking forward to meeting all of you!

I will probably have to print out the info here so I can remember where to find all of you - you've been a very busy group!

Hi, Mary! Glad to meet you too! Most of the info is posted at the beginning of each thread. But, if you want any specific info, ask away! Somebody will answer with pertinent information. Some latecomers may answer with humor...

Do you remember what day it was John? If it was Monday, it may have been Paul Menard. Not being the biggest fan of the taxi cab series, I am not sure I could pick him out of a crowd. The Nascar teams, on the whole, do a pretty job of public appearances for their sponsors. We went to Green Bay to see Tony Steward at a Home Depot several years ago.

Most teams have "show cars". Those are cars that they build that can be run on different tracks (such as road courses, short tracks {Martinsville, Bristol} or superspeedways like Daytona or Tallagega) but they use them for PR purposes when they aren't needed for those types of races.

Thanks for the welcome - I've been on a few of the other Member Cruises but am anxiously waiting to see if DVC will have any special celebration plans this time around.
I was on the Dream back in March with 3 of my grands and it is a very big ship - altho I've already cruised Disney 20 times, each cruise is different and special to me!
We joined DVC back in 1992 and know it was the best thing for the Disney lover that I am!!!
We won't be staying at the world before or after the cruise since we already have a stay planned for the Magic Kingdom's 40th birthday a week after we get back to port so...

Oh Man, I wish you were on here earlier. We were trying to find someone with high status to book a group for Palo Brunch. I am sure you have the highest status of any of us here. Don't worry though, we've go so much going on, we won't even miss it.
