Ok after two long weeks of school and dance, I'm finally updating! Sorry about the wait folks...

Once we arrived back at Kidani, Casey, my mom and I decided to head down to the pool for a bit. We swam and went on the water-slide. While in line for the slide at one point, we saw the cutest little twin french boys ever! :lmao: They were both just running aroud saying hi to everyone, and you could tell that even though they were speaking complete gibberish they knew what the other was saying. At one point, they both layed down and started yelling "Thund Storm, Thund Storm!!!"

And they were right. It was getting pretty overcast and was starting to rain a little, so we went back to the room. While Casey was in the shower, I enjoyed my favorite thing about our room: the balcony!!!

I just loved sitting and reading my book (The Pretty Little Liars, I loooove the show on ABC family!) and how quiet it was! It was perfect, with the peacefullness (is that a word?) and all the animals walking around! Ok I have to stop thinking about it, it's making me "homesick" :rotfl:.

After we ate a quick dinner in the room (my mom made cheeseburgers: yum!), the weather had cleared up. There were EMH's at Hollywood studios, so we decided to head there!

(ok I just looked and I don't seem to have any picture from tonight, so I guess we'll be "seeing with our imagination"!!!)

Once we arrived at DHS, we went straight to my absolute favorite ride in the whole entire universe no question about it period. (get all of that? :rotfl2:) What is it you ask.....

IMG_0280.jpg

(ok, this picture is actually from last year but I love how it was cloudy behind it so I had to use it now for..... DRAMATIC EFFECT!!!!!!!)

We got there to find the wait was only twenty minutes :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: Life is GOOD!!!

Now last trip was my first time on TOT. Even though we went on it at least four times in '09, I still always get that nervous, shaky "oh my gosh what am I getting myself into" feeling. But I did, of course LOVE IT!!! Seriously, that ride never in a million years gets old! Plus, I love how they added the screen with the little movie clip-thing at the end, I thought that was cool!!!

After TOT, we went to another of my favorites: Rockin Roller Coaster! To find..... the wait was 55 minutes :sad2: Instead, we went back to TOT. Well the wait there had gone up to 35 minutes, so we decided to go back to that later and try something else. But what to do?

We walked around until something caught our eye: The Magic of Disney Animation! We'd heard about the drawing classes, so we checked it out.

We'd just missed the last class! Instead of wasting time, we looked at everything inside. I loved the "what character are you quiz" (I was Ariel from the little mermaid!) and the "put your voice into a cartoon".

After MoA, we noticed that we somehow, in a crazy way, forgot about the Great Movie Ride! We went in and got on in no time. I love this ride, it's so cool how you're put right into the middle of the action of some great movies! I only have two complaints: A) "Mugsy" was a girl this time around. She just didn't have the strength of the men. It seemed like she didn't even care, she was just saying the script with no emothion. I mean sure, none of them are really the best actors but still.... it just wasn't the same!!

My second complaint is they cut out some of the Forrest Gump scenes in the movie sequence at the end. Forrest Gump= best movie EVER!!!

After our "journey through Hollywood", we returned to Hollywood- the tower hotel that is!!!! It was a walk-on, so we went on twice in front row!!! Like I said, life is FANTASTIC!

On our way out, we checked R'nRC again. The wait said forty minutes, so me, my dad and Casey decided to tough it out!

*A note to all line-jumpers:
You think your so smart because you were able to get into the fast-pass line without anyone noticing right? Well surprise, surprise: EVERYONE notices, we all just want to keep the spirit of the "happiest place on Earth" alive and not cause problems.

Yes we dealed with that: two people ducking under into the fastpass line. Honestly, some people drive me absolutly CRAZY!!! :headache:

Luckily for us, the wait was closer to twenty minutes rather than forty. It was, of course, a ton of fun! Me and my dad sat in the very front (with casey behind us) and that absolutly completes everything!

After Rn'RC, DHS was beginning to close down. We got in line for the bus back to AKL. Unfortunetly, we had to wait in the heat (even at 10 o'clock Florida is horribly hot) for a while, but got back to the hotel in about half an hour.

But no one (excpet for my dad) was tired. So mom, Casey and I decided to do a little exploring. We found the library (very pretty and quiet) and the firepit (I loved this, especially at night. Your so close to the animals and it's just very beautiful). We also found Sanaa and decided to look atr the menu. And, shockingly enough, it looked just like Jiko's....

And then my mom began to worry that we booked the wrong restaurant. We decided we'd just wait and see tomorrow and try to straighten out what restaurant we really had reservations for!

We were fairly tired by then, so we took the elevator back to our room and settled in. Like the night before, I fell asleep in no time, ready for tomorrow.

Where were we going, you ask? Well, you'll just have to wait and see;)

Until next time.....

I have soooo many pictures of the trash cans! One of my son's favorite Disney memories was his interaction with a trash can when he was 12! He was so shy at the time and the trash can got him to have a dance party with a very cute girl his age. It was priceless!

Ok, again, I could've SWORN I commented on this!! What is wrong with my memory???

AWWWW, little twin french boys. One thing I love about WDW are the kids. SO MANY CUTE KIDS!!! And the toddlers......I want to take them home. I swear.....not even funny....

WOOHOO ToT!!!! This trip was my first time on ToT and like you, I fell for it. I just love how if you go at the right times...you can go on it multiple times with just a walk on! I did my research well, and we did that a LOT on this trip. Off the ride, and right back on it again. I love it so much.

Do you guys have ADRS for both Jiko and Sanaa? I don't really get what happened there...

I was just able to catch up ....... that school thing, ya know!

Love reading your trip report! Keep up the good work, girl! :thumbsup2

We deffinetly saw a lot of cute kids this trip! It's one of my favorite things to see the reactions of them all!!!

Bascially, after looking at the menu, we weren't sure A)which one we actually made an ADR for and B) if we made the ADR for the right one!

Thank you Karin! I'm starting an update in... now

Ok guys, I had a really awesome update perfect and ready to go and I hit post and...

It got deleted.

WHY DOES DISBOARDS DO THIS TO ME?!?!

Unfortunetly, I will not have any time this weekend to fix it, so next weekend (or possibly, but not likely) throughout the week I will get the amazing post up. Sorry

Booooo, I hate it when that happens! It happened to me a couple of times when I used to blog. Man, it's such a bummer, you know?

Ok since I don't have time for a full update, I'll tell you guys about some upcoming news!

*We are officially booked for a dedicated two bedroom at Kidani Village for this June! I'll wait till the end to give you guys all of the details, but let me say...
> we'll be bringing another family with us (yay, more fun!!!)
>We're only 260 days away!!!
>Casey and I will be dancing in a real MK parade!!! we'll get to see a nunch of behind the scenes stuff and dance down main street USA HOW ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPURTUNITY IS THAT?!?!

I'll be updating this weekend!

Once again, i apologize for leaving you all hanging for so long! They should cancel school so I can update :lmao:

Day 3

Today we got up bright and early (as we would most days) to go to my favorite place in the world (the Disney one and the real one!): the Magic Kingdom!!!

We had a quick and uneventful busride over, breezed through security and tickets, and soon found ourselves walking down Main Street USA (and, they had people performing that song at that exact moment! Perfect timing much?!)

IMG_9651.jpg

(Almost There...)

IMG_9655.jpg

(TA-DAAA!!!! Isn't it the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?!?!)

IMG_9657.jpg

Due to a series of incredibly unfortunete (excuse my horrid spelling) events, I'd never been on Space Mountain before! Crazy, right? Let me explain:

*Trip one- I was too short
*Trip two- too terrified to do anything except It's a Small World because of Alien Encounter
*Trip three- broke down..... when we were NEXT in line!
*trip four- closed for refurbishment

It was at the top of my to-do list, and, knowing how crowded it gets, we headed straight there.

("God loves you!" .... isn't sky writing the coolest?)

We'd planned on just getting FP's, but the wait was only ten minutes! So obviously we had to go on!

IMG_9667.jpg

It was a walk-on! Before we knew it, we were next in line!

Overheard, a conversation between two 7 year old boys:

Boy 1- "What if this is the last time we can come to Disneyworld?"
Boy 2- (in complete horror) "I'd rather die than never come back!!!"
Aahhh, a kid after my own heart!

I loved this ride! It was a lot of fun and very cool in the dark!

When we left the wait was still at ten minutes, so dad, Casey and I all went for a second journey through Space!

Once we'd returned to earth, we decided just to take the oppurtunity to knock out the rest of Tomorrowland now. First up was another of my favorites: Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin!

I sat with my dad, and we all competed against eachother. Top scores, in order were: My dad, me, my mom then Casey (who lost with a score of 600 :lmao:)

Next, we decided to try Carousel of Progress, another first. I really enjoyed it. It was the perfect length of time, and very interesting. Plus, who doesn't love sitting in air-conditioning?

The newly renamed Peoplemover (So much better than Transit Authority) was next. It wasn't the most interesting, but I liked it. The part in Space Mounatin was awesome, and we got some great pictures:

IMG_9671.jpg

IMG_9674.jpg

Our last stop in Tomorrowland was something I hadn't been into: The Laugh Floor.

Don't get me wrong: Monsters Inc. is one of my absolute favorite movies, but I didn't want to waste our precious Disney time on corny, not funny jokes for little kids. But, for Casey's sake, we got the next show.

For those of you hesitating like me: SEE IT! It was such a shock, i was seriously crying I was laughing so hard! It was very "technologically advanced" and absolutly hilarios! Some highlights:

(When asked for audience jokes:)
Monster: "Ok, so what's th funniest joke you know?"
Kid: (after incredibly long silence) "I... did not... happen to pack a joke with me on this vacation!"

(During the movie roleplay w/ 2 headed monster: little girl chosen for Boo was chewing on a mickey mouse pen:)
Monster head 1: "And this is Boo, a crazy little girl who likes to play hide and seek and.... eat mice...."
Monster head 2: "That's just so wrong!"

(During Sully roleplay:)
Monster Head 1: "Ok, give us you absolute best Sully the monster impression!"
(guy manically shakes head with tounge hanging out)
Monster head 2: "Wait... Seriously? You do know he said monster, right?"
Monster head 1: "You look like a big wet dog!"

Overall, it was so funny! (probably funnier in person, but whatever!) Go see it on your next trip!

After the Laugh Floor, we were done in Tomorrowland. But where were we off to next, you ask? I'll give you a little hint:

IMG_9680.jpg

(You think that's creepy, wait till you see a picture we got later on!)

Until next week!...

I was just thinking how no one has posted for over a month on this report, but here you are now, and I'm ready for more.

Hi there
Just found your trip report today and am enjoying it very much.
Looking forward to those photos of the talking trash cans!!
We'll be in DW for the busiest time of year Dec. 26th til Jan. 1st

I can' wait!

Debbie :thumbsup2

That skywriter must have a full time job over disney. He was there in may over AK. but he said Jesus loves you. Not that I dont agree with it but I think Disney should be a restricted airspace, and thats coming from a JROTC cadet.:rotfl:

From Tomorrowland we cut through fantasyland to Liberty Square, our destination being the Haunted Mansion!

I love how every time you go on this ride you see something new! And they whole "hidden sub-story lines" are very cool. Imagineer work at it's best, it's so clever how everything is shown!

There was, as always, a short wait so we hopped right in line, and I was treated to one of my favorite disney things:

098.jpg

Woohoo! Red card!

We continued into the ride and of course enjoyed it very much. The one thing that bothered me was how everyone was talking and paying zero attention in the stretching room. This happened nearly every time we rode HM. Did anyone else run into this problem?

So anyway, after HM, we were pretty hungry. We didn't want to have to walk to far, so we looked around at what was there and saw the Columbia Harbour House. We decided to at least take a break in the air Conditioning and see what they could do about gluten free.

IMG_9684.jpg

(TRASH CAN!!!!!!!!!!!)

The people were very helpful and knew what we talking about, so we decided to stick here. Casey and I found a table while my parents ordered. I got fried shrimp, french fires, cole slaw and a coke:

IMG_9686.jpg

It was very good! We were anxious to have more disney-fun, so we quickly ate lunch and got ready to go. We walked to Fronteirland (which, I was just looking and I seem to have tons of pictures of this land. Sooo I went through and chose some good ones!) for two of my favorite rides (in case you hadn't noticed, almost every ride is one of my favorites): Big Thunder Mountain railroad and Splash Mountain.

IMG_9690.jpg

(No, that's not my family. Looks nothing like us. Just random people who happened to be walking through my picture)

IMG_9691.jpg

IMG_9693.jpg

IMG_9695.jpg

The wait was much longer for BTM, so my dad and Casey got FP's while me and my mom got in line for Splash Mountain.

IMG_9696.jpg

IMG_9698.jpg

(the train went directly over our heads while we were in line. It's a lot louder and scarier than it sounds!)

IMG_9707.jpg

We only had to wait about twenty minutes, and, to my dismay, we got the first two rows,

Now I'm one of those people who loves the water rides but not getting wet (we'll here a wonderful story about that later!) So dad and casey took the front while my mom and I hid behind them. I love that ride. I always sing along (yes I have the Disney ride CD on my ipod) and scream at the drop. I got the perfect amount of wet. Casey and dad got SOAKED! So happy I wasn't in the front!

BTM was next. With our FP's, it was a walk-on! And lots of fun!

After our wildest ride in the wilderness, we headed towards Adventureland. For what, you ask? Well I can't say yet! After All, Dead Men Tell No Tales!

Until next time, thank you all for reading!

My guess about your next ride is pirates of the caribean, but i could be wrong.:rotfl:

Finally back for more! Sorry about the wait folks, I've had to do a long term project on Iran for the past few weekends, but I'm finally finished and ready to update! I left off with....

Pirates of the Carribean!

I've always loved this ride. It's just so well done and interesting (plus I love the way it smells....mmmm..... is that normal?). But there was a reason I didn't like this ride that one time, and that reason was named George.

Now I'm sure some of you Dis'ers have probably heard the George story. Basically, rumor has it that a guy who worked in the MK named George hated Pirates of the Carribean, but was assigned to work on that ride. At the end of one of his shifts looking at the ride after closing time, something fell on him and he died. According to the story, if you say "I don't believe in George" or "I don't like george" or anything along those lines, your boat will stop and a bunch a weird stuff will happen.

Unfortunetly, I made the mistake of telling my parents and casey about this after finding out.

I know it's just a silly story, but I get freaked out really easily. Of course, they all had to keep saying "George, come out, we don't believe in you." Sooo, instead of enjoying the ride, I was creeped out and screamed every time the boat stopped for even a millisecond. Luckily, I got over this ridiculousness by the end of the trip but that one ride..... not so fun haha!

Anyway, after that ride, we decided to head to main Street to catch our first parade of the trip. We went close to the entrance so we'd be able to get out quick, but had to get there early. While mom and dad saved our spot, Casey and I decided to look around the shops.

It was great, and before too long we were at the hat store. Theres an old fashioned phone, and if you pick it up, you can hear a lasy yelling at some guy about the price of ham! It's soo funny! I don't remember how we found it, but check it out next time you're in MK!

Once we'd looked through all the stores, we returned just in time, as the parade was starting. It was great! I looove Disney parades! Picture time (and I got a lot!) :

(probably my favorite parade picture from all our trips! Don't really know why, but I just love it!)

IMG_9739.jpg

IMG_9745.jpg

I do, of course, have tons more, but I just chose my favorites for you!

The parade was fantastic, and I had a really cute little boy next to me the whole time. Again, Disney has the cutest kids! Once the parade was over, we beat the rush out of the park and (luckily) a bus for AKL was already there! We hopped right on, and quickly arrived back at home. We took our daily pool/showers break, then headed off for dinner!

Since casey wants to look at something on the computer, I'll wrap up things for now. Until next time!

OMG KELLYBELLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, I'm going to go back and actually read your update now
~~~~~
Ok, I'm caught up. I went into the hat store too! We actually heard something different from what you heard. I guess it changes around. Definitely makes me want to go back to hear more
The only parade we saw at WDW this trip was in AK, and there's a great story for that, coming up...not too soon....
Anyways, I love the shots you have! I think that fox dude from Pinocchio's character looks REALLY creepy. Where are you guys headed for dinner?
