Done!!! Dec 10, at Nine Dragons, for the 8:15 show, ADR at 5:45!!! Only took close to 90 mins total.

I stumbled on this one...didn't understand what she was asking...CM said it's the number of true adults, over 18.
Possibly remind DS to *write down* the CP reservation number at the end of the call? You didn't say DS's age. Good luck!

haha me too! I said 5 adults and she asked me if anyone in the party was under 17. I went wait what?

Still can't get through. How long does it take to say:

U: "yes, I'm calling to get a Candlelight Processional Dinner package for -insert date- at -insert restaurant-and would like to see the -insert CP show time here-"

CM: "ok let me check my system. Ok Sir/Ma'am we have a -insert time here- available, would you like that?"

U: "um, yes, thanks" or "do you have anything for the same date and time at another restaurant?"

CM: "ok here is your confirmation #" or "let me check. Ok we have a -insert time here- at -insert location- for the date and show time you requested"

U: "verifying confirmation #. Ok thanks" or "yes, I'll take the -insert time- at -insert location- thanks"

I just don't understand why I have been redialing now for almost and hour & half and still cannot get through even to be put on hold

It takes 7 minutes and that is a quick call. The line was left open and I heard the CM say "7 minute call..." they must track it.

oh no, i'm so sorry for you, to be honest though, I feel like giving up myself, just can't get through at all. Keep ringing and then get a discontinued tone, only heard the 50's guy 3 times in over an hour. I'm getting so frustrated at having to ring the 1p a min line then waiting to be put through to disney only to hear the discontinued tone. I feel like just calling disney direct, but knowing my luck I would get through and be on hold for an hour and the phone call would cost a fortune.......

arrggggh just got ringing tone, then it cut off to a discontinued tone yet again

I kept getting the 50's guy over and over and then I got through! Good luck!

OMG, I am totally crying right now!!! I got EXACTLY what I wanted!!!!

Dec 8th, 5:40 dinner at Biergarten with an 8:15 show. We are taking my parents to Disney with us and this will be their first time back since 1975! I know my dad will LOVE the Biergarten, I picked it for him. I am just sitting here crying happy tears!!!

Took 40 minutes to get through (land line and 2 cell phones) and 42 minutes of being on hold.

My DS cooked me breakfast while I waited, and now I have to RUSH to get ready for work, usually takes me 45 minutes, and I now have 20! GOT TO RUN!!!!!

Okay, after 1 1/2 hours of dialing, finally got through at 8:25-so will see how long the hold time is....

Keeping my fingers crossed for me and all of you!

... and got what I want.

I almost screamed, though, when the castmember asked me for my hotel reservation number (huh??) and home address and stuff BEFORE checking for my preferred date/restaurant!!

Please - everyone - go to DisneySurvey.com/DRC and Disney know how difficult this process was this year. I am on the west coast, and so got up at 4:00 for two weeks before they finally posted a date we could officially call! Plus, the misinformation given by castmembers for those two weeks and for weeks afterwards was ridiculous!

Happy now, but if we don't tell Disney about the experience, we will go through this again next year!

Well, officially over the more than 30 minutes on hold mark...hoping that means anytime soon. DH is taking DS to camp and I will be working a bit late tonight. I would feel a little guilty about DH taking DS to camp except I am doing this for his parents and he's really grateful...thinks this is crazy but will be happy for the outcome!
