Thanks Joi! I did search the DCL website but I didn't see this.

Hmmmm, more decisions to make...........:confused3:lmao:

Thanks a bunch!
Eleasa

Welcome.....I was perusing the site anyway so.... I am thinking of just buying an extra memory card...just case I fill up the first one ....
More pics for my imaginary scrapbooks:rotfl2:

Good Night all! sleep well :cloud9:

I started a cross stitch of a hawk back in...... the early 90's I believe. Haven't work on it since then. It's somewhere in the back room. :lmao:

per Urban Dictionary: Cougar Hawk

A gentleman of any age who preys on cougars. This gentleman is very knowledgeable in the ways of the cougar and is an expert at looking like prey while actually being the predator. He often uses this insight to work the cougar while working other ladies or multiple packs of cougars at the same time. This is usually accomplished though intermittent flirting throughout the evening. The cougar hawk is not to be confused with a guy wearing mirrored shades and a Hustler jacket hitting on everything in the room.

The cougar hawk is a gentleman first. A master of etiquette. ... He knows cougars hunt in packs when you see one there are many. The best cougar hawks approach a bar like a puzzle or riddle. The size up all prospective action upon entering and allot enough time to each candidate to maximize his efficiency. A cougar hawk is an asset in any band of merry men.

“Careful bud or that cougar is going to maul you.” Don’t you worry boys, I am a wise man when is comes to the ways of the cougar. In 12 hours she will be making me breakfast. Do you all want breakfast? I can have her call some friends?”

“Hey man I don’t know if things are going to work out with these chicks. She just figured out she knows me but cant remember I used to date her sister”. “That’s ok man I’ve been been making eyes at these ladies at the end of the bar and Jay is on his way. Jay is a real cougar hawk I’ve seen him line up three groups of chicks and take two of them with him.

Thought I would post another question. This may help some with SM stuff - otherwise just interesting information.

What is your favorite color?

Mine is blue - not baby blue though. I like the dark blues and jewel tone blues

I believe this was asked a while ago, but I don't recall seeing an answer.

Does Shutters offer a service where they'll download your pictures from your camera onto a disc? And if so, any idea of cost?

Thanks
Eleasa

Yes they do for a price but "surely" someone with a computer will do it for you for free. :surfweb:

I am a "blue" person .... Carolina Blue to be exact.

I use an insulin pen. Is there a drop off point/container on the ship for used needles?

thanks T

I am way behind (again) so this may have been answered, but we asked DCL and they said to call them and they will provide a sharps container in your stateroom. They prefer that to having us bring our own container or take the syringes home.

Brack, thanks very much for suggestion! :thumbsup2

Krisann, thank you very much! This is a very generous offer. Are you sure?

Eleasa

Yes I am sure - I will have a thing of sticky notes on my door for messages and anyone can leave me a message that they need me to do a transfer and I will meet up with you.

(this can be put into the mini navi if you have room/want to)

Krisann

Also, add me to the list of failed scrap bookers. I started a large book for our first cruise in 2008 and it is far from finished. I wanted to complete it before this trip, but with a busy month to go, I don't think it will happen.

I am making myself finish our WB PC scrapbook so I have decided to do a quick and easy Shutterfly photobook and then I'll scrap the Shutters photos, Navigators, etc. in a separate album.

My favorite colors are pink, blue and red.

On a side note, I need to custom print some text onto t-shirts for my bridesmaids... I saw an ad for the Yudo printer on TV but I honestly don't think I have enough time to figure that out. Has anyone used a reasonably priced supplier that could print a few shirts other than Cafepress?

There are also some secret verandahs, sold as Cat 7 (Navigator Verandah - usually a solid wall on the verandah with a circular cutout). The secret verandah has a slanted solid wall on one side - very little - so they don't sell it as the Cat 6 it effectively is. 6134, 6634 (I think).

My family has been in 5522 (secret porthole) and 6134 (secret verandah).

- Lynne

There are secret verandahs on deck 7 also 7120 and 7620. I have (until I canx it) 7620 for the Panama cruise. I'm holding off cancelling in case I fall into a big pile of money between now and August!.

Actually, I'm thinking, the morning WE arrive in Barcelona it probably will be, since that is port day. It won't be the next morning when we disembark.

DCL is still moving people around. DISer clten got a call with an upgrade yesterday and later posted this:

Thanks for the congrats and congrats to the others who have gotten upgrades. Wanted to let everyone on the cruise know that they are still moving people around. The woman who called said they were trying to get them done within the next week so almost everyone will have their upgraded cabin number on their documents. So here's hoping we're going to hear of even more people getting pixie dusted on this cruise!

I saw that too and several names saying they were on the cruise that I did not remember being here on this thread - seems like there are more people lurking out there on the dis board that we still do not "know" I hope they come say hello!

Krisann

My hubbie had a good question. People that are getting called with upgrades, are they having to pay for them or are they free like we saw on our reservation? Also those people getting called, were they already upgraded once and this is a second one or did they miss the pixie dust the first time and are now getting hit with it?

I don't even scrapbook. I tend to throw out brick-brack. Now, fabric is a weakness. I sent back a dozen or so pieces (4-5 yds each) from Hawaii.

I really enjoy making photo books on the Mac. The books have a very professional finish. And so much easier than scrapping.

In addition to being a lapsed scrap booker, I am also a lapsed Quilter! I have a whole room full of beautiful fabric I am afraid to cut. I am in the middle of making FE for us and our traveling companions though and I WILL complete them on time. I will post photos when they are done.

Thought I would post another question. This may help some with SM stuff - otherwise just interesting information.

Kristi

My favorite color is Red, but lately I find my self favoring various shades of Green.

I think a big and active thread either scares people, or they just don't have the time to participate. I remember on the WBPC lots of people came by the Promanade Lounge meet to say hello and also chatted with us 'lanyard wearers' all through the cruise.

We love our lurkers...please don't be shy on the ship! :grouphug:

I know for this cruise (and probably it's partially because we booked so late) that I won't be doing as much pre-arranged DIS stuff as I did on the WBPC. I'll be at the meets at CI&S (if there are still people there after we grab dinner) and the on board meet. We'll be playing with DISers in Madeira :grouphug:. Pam and I are doing bunco. I know I'll be by the book exchange several times. I'll have my traditional Luminere's breakfast with Mr & Mrs Woody (fourth cruise together)! Otherwise you all will just find me wandering around the ship...or plopped on a chair in and around Cove Cafe.
