Hi everyone - well just booked our first 10 days for our trip which starts on 17th August. Got everything we wanted within an hours of the times we wanted - apart from the Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose which was not available for *any* of the dates which fall within our first 10 days

They said I can try again on Saturday to book for Sunday 29th. A bit gutted as the date I really wanted was Thurs 26th which is 180 + 9 and I rang at 12 on the dot - can't believe it was all booked up already. I have booked Mama Melrose for 4.05pm that day which was the only time available.

How has everyone else got on with this - have you managed to get a Fantasmic Mama Melrose package for Aug and any tips to share?

Im suprised you couldnt get it, we booked mama melrose for the 17th august (6th day of our first 10 adrs) and had no problems. Maybe worth ringing back and see if you get more joy with a different cm.

We have still got the last 5 to book, in all fairness despite Saturdays nightmare its been really easy and so much better than phoning for them. We have a lot on our list that you are doing, gives me a chance to change our mind if you say they are naff Are you doing 1900 park fair for breakfast or diner? We did the breakfast last year with the mad hatter the kids loved it. think thats why they like you mate

We are doing the evening with Cinders, Ugly Sisters, Prince Charming etc.
Last year it was quite nioisy, but considering it is a buffet, it had a good choice and I enjoyed the food

I know, i almost suprised myself !! shouldnt really say anything yet - until i have booked the last 5. The ones we still have to do shouldnt be to difficult to get i hope so quite pleased with what we have got and the times we got. Only one concern was that Mama Melrose and Whispering Canyon both said we might be sat at seperate tables, Hope the Grand parents dont mind sitting with the kids whilst me and Wend have a nice quiet meal

I got that message when booking 50's Prime time for just the 3 of us.

We've been amazed at how easy it's been to book the ADRs we wanted. There still seems to be loads of availabity for when we're there so we've been able to add in some extra options!

This is our first time going in August. Previously we've been at Easter/Spring Break time and we had to compromise loads on timings. We couldn't get 'Ohana at all last time until they increased the hours for spring break (we then managed to get in at 4pm which proved to be a bit too early for us).

This time we've managed to get Boma, CP, Kona and Captain's Grille for brekkie at the exact times we wanted and WCC, Plaza and Tusker House for main meals, again at the times requested.

I think all the tips we picked up on here beforehand helped - so a big thankyou to all you wonderful people!

ok - rang again - different CM who said that it looked like the fantasmic package has not yet been released for that date and to keep trying. Is that kind of unusual? I thought they were all released 180 days out??? Also - took me ages to get through on the phone the 2nd time - any tips for getting through quicker and not having to listen to all teh pre-recorded messages?

I also thought they were all released at 180 days, maybe they have problems with there system (that would make a change ). Cant help with the waiting time on the phone but are you using the cheap rate number so that it doesnt cost you a fortune? I would try again and see if you have any joy

I am sorry to hear about your diffs re Mama Melrose. Maybe is hasn't been loaded in as it would be surprising to be fully booked at 180+9...is the show definately on that night?

Thanks Yes - they said the show is def on that night - 1st CM said it is fully booked and 2nd CM said its not yet loaded so who knows. They just said keep trying. I have booked an ordinary mama melrose dining reservation for 4.05 that day but they said it if def not a fantasmic package. xx

ok - following my 3rd phone call to disney dining today (!!!!) I have now managed to book the fantasmic package at Mama Melrose - got a 4pm reservation (and also cancelled my previous dining only reservation which was at 4.05) - all*very* bizarre but soooooo happy to have got it sorted and to have all my first 10 days booked!!!
