Not a good deal for me. Deluxes are gone. My current rate at YC CL is 2060 for 4 nights w/ tix. Then I was paying 414 for 2 nights AKL CL (no way that deal will ever be seen again!). so my total rate 2474 for 6 nights. Just called disney ALL they have in deluxes is YC Waterview (no club level) for 2693. So it will cost me 225 to switch to the deal, I gain a night but lose club level for the entire stay! So costing me to switch and losing club...no deal for me...

OK, all is good. For some reason, the code (direct from mousavers and other sites) did not work on their system, so the CM (DAvid) found another way. Said the new deals are hard because so many users on the system, I guess. Anyway, WL for 2 adults for 7 days room and park hopper passes plus dining on Jan 3-10 equalled $2600. But he said he only had 2 rooms left for those dates at WL

Thanks for letting us know. just called and saved $800 plus park tix on my direct reservation with Disney. the poor CM!! I tourtured her.

Here is the crazy thing, Magical Vacations is still cheaper the week before, paying straight out for 7 nights room only, and paying seperately for tix!!

Is that a no brainer? or can someone please tell me if the food plan is really truly worth the $$? Thanks!

The availability will depend on your dates, remember. They may be gone for one person for the week they're going, but plentiful for other days.

I nearly had a heart attack when I read a previous post (while on hold) that said that there was no availability for CSR.... until I remembered that we're all going for different dates. Sure enough, I was able to get CSR for my week. So don't panic about availability until you call and confirm for your own dates!

I called around 930 am. Got a super nice CM named Chad. We are going to Pop from 1/30 to 2/6 - there were no standard rooms available for booking. Luckily, my super nice CM remembered that he hadn't canceled my room only reservation yet, he made a call and had a higher up override my room only reservation & change it into a package. So we (2 Adults, 1 child, and 1 free under 3 yo) got standard room at Pop for 7 nights with standard dining plan, and 7 day base MYW park tickets for $1847.

Not a bad deal. Definately not as good as last year - missing that $200 gift card and extra night! For us, it was not really a $ savings because we have 6 days on our no expiration passes still, so we were not planning on buying park tickets this year. Anyway, it works out to be something like $120 more than what our AAA package would have been but we get 7 day passes for all of us instead of 1 day passes needed to get the dining plan package. We figured we will just hang on to our non-expiration passes for a future trip, if there is a year deals aren't being offered.

We did get our email confirmation already and there was a ton of "extras" on it - vouchers for arcade, golf, spa, planet hollywood, etc.

Thanks to whomever posted about getting AKL-CL at 4/3.

It must have just been that my dates were unavailable as I was just able to modify my Poly-GV to Poly-CL-GV for 4/3 (saving me $1788!!!)

Although, now I'm wondering if I should call back and have someone else check AKL-CL as I don't think the original CM even checked before telling me it was "excluded".

My confirm email finally came! Only thing is, it doesn't show my $200 deposit (says I need to make a deposit by 10/5 but I gave them my cc today already). Do I need to worry? When I pull up the ressie on the WDW site it shows the deposit but when I click on the link in the email to see the package details it doesn't show the deposit .

For the heck of it, I called back. Yes CL is available on deal however the current code I am booked under 40% off CL, the CM said the 4/3 deal will NOT touch or beat that. She went thru a mathmatical equation with me as to why and it made sense. So sticking with my 40% CL and am able to keep my split stay between YC CL and AKL CL. She then told me her family was there 2 weeks ago and the restaurants were more crowded than the parks b/c of free dining. The main reason I did NOT do free dining...

Quick update:

AKL-CL was simply unavailable on my dates (1/17-1/24).

Looks like Poly-CL here we come! I guess I can't be too disappointed

Sorry if my post was confusing. We are going in Nov 09 so we were able to book with free dining (which was a better deal for us even staying deluxe since we are 5 people).

I think I read some people had a pin for free dining in 2010, but I'm not 100% sure. No other free dining offers for 2010 yet.

Hey, I have to leave soon and can't read thru this whole thread right now but I have a question. I have a 10 night ressie at CSR for $109 a night right now - before Thanksgiving. My mother purchased the tix for me and DH as an anniversary gift - two 7 day tickets. No park hopper but I don't need park hopper or waterpark option. I see that this special is only good if you buy your tix thru Disney. We got a little discount since my parents are military - but you could look at them as free for me. However, if I had paid for the tix (I mean, my mom paid cash so they weren't really free) would this new special be a better deal? Should we have waited??? ARGH!

We're going Jan 30-Feb 6 (same as you) at POP. We are staying preferred & also doing the regular DDP. We would have 2A/2C. Our 7 day tix also include the hopper.

Even with the differences, my rate is $2447, which is $600 more than yours. I'm at work, so no time to actually try to rate everything out, but it seems like a lot more

I'm thinking the difference is the preferred room as well as tickets and dining for your 2nd child. Our 2nd child doesn't count yet at disney as he won't be 3 yet.

Mine too.

Mine too. Same thing when I originally booked but then I got the invoice showing the deposit. I assume the same will happen with the new 4/3 reservation. I'm not going to worry about it until I get the invoice in a few days...especially if it shows when you logon to the Disney website.

Did someone get a Standard Room at WL?

I had a package booked with a Standard Room and the CM told me I could not apply the 4/3 discount to a Standard Room, only Woods View and Courtyard View.

I switched to AKL - but I'd rather be at WL. The price difference is about $300 between AKL Pool View and WL Woods View - so for now I'm staying at AKL, but if anyone got a Standard Room, please let me know so I can switch back.
