I remember Beth told me that the girls were going to their grandparents house for most of August. My girls are in Florida at THEIR grandparents for 3 weeks right now. August 29th would be GREAT!! We'll put that on our calendar right now and we can work on the details later! Can't WAIT!!! Would love to meet Lori and her family too!

August 29th sounds good to me. How about Paige and her fam to meet up too?

it is great isnt it?? after getting cancelled on several cruises, we finally got to FLY on CC. trouble was....seconds after being up there, Robin decided it wasnt "daring" enough. now she wants to jump out of a plane??(or get a harley)maybe she wants to push me out of the plane.:scared:

Do it! It is a wonderful experience. I did it when I was in college and loved it. Although I did get a little motion sick on the parachute ride part of it. But, freefalling was amazing. i don't parasail because I am afraid I will get motion sick.

Absolutely, the more the merrier. :cool1:

Paige, what do ya think. August 29th for a Capital Region DISmeet? (Any Maryland BOBers out there?)

Matthew

Where have Shelley and Woody been? They are from near Richmond and they could meet up with us?

SHELLEY ARE YOU HERE?

Matthew, I loved your pics. Please post more. Julia loved the one of the 3 princesses. She can't wait to see the girls again.:cutie:

Good morning people!:goodvibes

Crazy busy day today - already stripped the beds, 2 loads of laundry and cleaned Ellis' room. Too much to squeeze into today, oh well, it'll keep me out of mischief:rotfl:

ps - WW weigh in this morning - :scared: - pray that I'm a big loser:rotfl:

Good Morning Everyone

Now I see why I couldn't find the dolphin one. I was going too fast and it was listed as Tortola Dolphin Encounter instead of Anguilla Dolphin Encounter....(Rob was waiting for me tohead out to the movies to see Night at the Museum)

Adult:$188 (ages 10 and up)
Child :$162 (ages 3-9)

Tortola Dolphin Encounter (ST-37)
Journey to the island paradise of Tortola for a one-of-a-kind dolphin encounter you're sure to never forget.

Escape across the sparkling Caribbean Sea — where endless blue sky mingles with sweeping coastal views — during a one-hour ferry ride from St. Thomas to Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands. Along the way, snap a picture of St. Thomas, St. John, Norman Island, and Pelican Island from your seaside perch, and listen to your guide relay stories about the history of this sun-kissed region. Upon your arrival in Tortola, pass through Immigration before boarding an air-conditioned motor coach or taxi and embarking on a delightful, hour-long island drive — taking in such famous sites as Ridge Road, Sky World, Guana Island and Round Rock — to Dolphin Discovery. Overlooking the sparkling Caribbean Sea, Dolphin Discovery is one of the few places in the world to offer people of all ages the unique opportunity to partake in up close and personal experiences with dolphins, and is committed to the conservation and protection of marine mammals. Upon your arrival, meet and greet the facility's dolphin trainers and take in an interactive introduction to these gentle creatures of the deep, including a discussion of their anatomy, physiology and natural history. After your orientation, make your way to a submerged, waist-deep platform and immerse yourself in a magical in-water exchange with real live dolphins. Learn how gentle creatures of the deep respond to hand signals and positive reinforcement from the trainers and discover the fantastic underwater communication system inherent to all dolphins. Then, delight in an unforgettable hands-on interaction as you are invited to glide your hand over the dolphin's soft skin, share a friendly flipper shake and receive a friendly kiss with your newfound friend.

Reading this I think save your money and do Discover Cove in Orlando. We did the Dolphin excursion in Cozumel and was a bit disappointed.

Good morning. Happy Monday to you all.

Karen, good luck this morning.:thumbsup2

I wanna see some more pics people.

For the excursions I booked, they listed the end times as well as the start times. 2 flags tour is 8:45 - 11:45.

Paige, could I impose upon you to look up the start and end times for the 12 meter regatta and afternoon beach bash on St. Maarten also???

Thanks a bunch!

Good morning all!

Just a quick drive by posting....I really do not get enough DIStime :)

We took DS to the Bristol Renaissance Faire near Kenosha on Saturday - it was SO much fun! I think this year was the first year we got to sit down and see some of the shows and entertainment - now that DS is a bit older he is interested in watching the shows. We watched the jousting and some musical acts, etc. It was loads of fun - I'll post a few pics tonight.

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: to all my DISfriends who need them.

Looks like your wish will be granted later Lori.

Good morning all,

Good luck karen!!!

I have been so bad, gotta get back on track.

I could so live on CC!!!! I think all the excursions come over from the closest Island, I don't think any of the motorized water sports are Disney operated.

It's OK during the day, but by dusk all the Mozzies come out and bite you to bits.

Hiya Joanne. I saw your little green light was on and thought you would be along soon to join me.
