Thanks! We were 19 and 21 when we got married. We started dating when we were 16 and 17 (our birthdays are 15 months apart, the reason for the 1 and 2 year gaps).

Nah, crummy wine that is hardly worth the hour and half of ceremony. For some reason, they don't want you to drink the whole thing? You only get a sip?! And if you haven't had confession in 22 years, like me, you're not supposed to get any at all?????

Sorry, no disrespect to Catholics. I'm a recovering Catholic myself.

Hi Mac and all-

I spoke too soon. Dad may or may not get out of hosp today.
My mom called earlier from his hosp. room. My dad has a bladder problem, he doesn't have the urge to urinate (or pee). So a couple of his docs want to check him out today sometime. Don't know if they are releasing him later today or tomorrow
That's about it.
I have had so many phone calls today from my grandma, my mom, and one of the moms for the BLue and Gold banquet next Sunday needing something


Mac- Can I have one of the hot tubs in the new place?? Please?? I deserve it! I can soak with DH and you know who.LOL. That would be interesting?!

DH is older; I met him when I was in the 9th grade and he was in the 10th grade. I chased him like crazy!

OMG, lucky you! I didn't meet Mike till I was 28. We got married when I was 33 and he was 36. But we always tease that we would never be married if we had met in high school. I was more the band nerd, honor roll type. He was the jock that would get caught drinking at school events .....

i do hear of many successful marriages of those that have married young.
as long as you have the same values, you'll last until the end of time.

I was the honor roll type too (until I started trying to get DH's attention). I couldn't concentrate on anything else and dropped to a 3.0.......I was still a nerd though! DH was (and still is) really smart, but didn't make really good grades. He got a scholarship on his ACT scores.

i had my degrees and working on the phd and told mr mac he needed to go back for his mba when we married.

he did and did more advanced work.
