How long to add on points at sold out resort?

Called my guide this morning to do another small (33-point) add-on for BCV.

The points were immediately available and will be in my account today!



That's my 14th add-on (I just had to get beyond 13).

Mike, I've just gotta say it...

I hope to add-on at least half as many times as you have... We're at 4x so far... (but the year is young! )

I have the very lucky March UY. DVC always seems to have plenty of points available at all the resorts for March. I'm not sure why, but I'm not complaining!

I followed up with another call to add 2-more days at BCV to my Oct 2008 trip. I thought there wouldn't be any availability, since it's F&W festival, but lo and behold -- more luck. I was able to snag 2 more nights.

Mike, I know this is probably posted somewhere but given that I just came across your recent post, I thought that I'd ask you what DVC is asking per point for a BCV add-on (if you don't mind me asking!).

BCV = $101
BWV = $98
VWL = $98
OKW = $96
HHI = $92
VB = $92

Out of curiosity....does anyone know what the longest anyone has waited for an add on? Some thing is bound to come up for somebody.

We just went on the waitlist today for more BWV points. We need an August use year and are on the list for 60 points, but told them we would take it 30 at a time if that was alll that was available.

As of today, there were no points available. Hopefully it won't be too long of a wait.... just want to get another reservation for November before the 7 month point.

Has anyone added on August points recently at BWV?

I called today and added on 100pts at BWV with a February Use Year. The points were immediately available. My guide told me that there were no points for August, September or October Use Years. The February Use Year had about 1000 points.

We received our 75 points on February 9 for BCV, April UY. We had been waiting since July 25.

We just bought at BCV through Disney. We got 200 points with a December UY and waited exactly 3 months.

I called today and added on 100pts at BWV with a February Use Year. The points were immediately available. My guide told me that there were no points for August, September or October Use Years. The February Use Year had about 1000 points.

If I were you..I'd be calling my guide ASAP to be "SURE" your on the wait list and especially since DVCMike just got pts. for his March UY...(same as yours). Hummmm
Also..tell your guide that you will take 2-25 pt contracts as well as 1-50!!

I have a Sept. UY. Probably the hardest of them all for some reason. You don't see many Sept UY BCV go on ever often. Probably 10 at the TTS in the past year.

Today is 1 YEAR!!!!!!
