I assume they are supposed to order from the children's menu. But... are there children's menus at the signature restaurants?

Ok, those that have gotten them what are the fastpasses that you get when you do the DVC tour. Our guide said that we could come to the tour when we were there in March and get the fastpasses. I'm trying to plan and can't remember what the fastpasses were good for. Can someone remind me? Thanks.

Ours were just generic FPs, good for anything, if I remember correctly.

It was good. Nicholas started working on his science fair project, we all enjoyed the Hannah movie and dinner, and now we are chilling in bed, watching tv.

ETA: Mr. Talkative has just named them for you too! Stefan and Sharon... who is this man in the living room tonight????

Give him a few more beers and then ask him what they should be named. I'd love to hear what else he comes up with!

I just spoke to my sister-she invited us to a birthday party at ChuckECheese. We've never been to one. The kids should have fun.

She told me I sound so old.

Joe's got the cold now too and had the hives this afternoon. He hadn't eaten anything he hadn't had before so I think it must have been a viral thing. We gave him some Benedryl and it cleared up really quickly. He's cranky though-he must not feel well.

Hope you both feel better!

Chuck is driving me crazy. He is watching Lost on his computer catching up on the epsiodes that he missed. However, what he really wants is some personal attention from me. He keeps looking over at me and blowing kisses.

We're not leaving until May 4th now. When do you arrive? Lindsay, when are you there? Anyone else going to be there April 26-May 4?

not really necessary... those names were WITH a few beers! We might be looking at Vladimir and Wilhelmina in another 30 minutes or so...

I investigated... it says they have to order from the children's menu "where available"

I just looked at some of the children's menus at the sig restaurants. They have the same standard fare (mac/cheese, grilled chicken, burger, hot dog, etc) but then they also have at least one other item like salmon, steak or fish. One could pay OOP for the kids food and then use the extra dining credits for more meals.


ETA: Elin, there is your answer!!!!!!! Take my kids with you and you will have more dining credits!!!!

Although we had Chanon book ME for our trip in September, I was looking at car rentals. We are talking about $170 for a compact car for 9/27-10/1 WITH discounts like a free weekend day!

Chuck is so funny. He is watching an air guitar contest on VH1. I can't believe that people pay to go to an air guitar contest let alone compete in one. They look ridiculous. Crazy stuff!

ETA: They are really serious about this competition. I thought it was a joke.

I had an interesting conversation with one of my "dads" today following his daughters' recital. He came up and asked me if he could ask me a Disney question. I figured they were planning a Disney vacation. Nope! He wanted to know if I knew who Deb Wills was. When I said, yes, that I knew who she was and had met her a few time, he said he figured that was the case. He just wanted to let me know that he hosts her website!

How did I not know this before now?!?

Oh that's right they keep track of children's TS credits. It's the CS ones that don't make a difference. Rats. I thought I was onto something.
