It's nuts...they said there were 170,000 people at the phoenix open yesterday...imagine the superbowl....we went to mimi's after church this morning tonz of football fans...it was packed we live near the phoenix open not the superbowl yet we still got superbowl fans

I am worrying about Noel too.

I did hear about the RCCL Nick cruise...sounds fun...but I trust the Disney cruise kids club better. So we only go RCCL without the kids...its a fun ship though but for us its our adult vacation

Thanks for the name La Perla....that's where I saw the divers when I was a small child! It says that La Perla doesn't open until 7PM, are you worried about getting back on the ship by 9:30? I don't know how far away this location is from the ship. TIA

Welcome to the newbies!!!

I think you guys have given me about 45-50 pages to read since I left last night....I'm tired already!

So I'm going to assume that most of the people are watching the game - not me.....trying to find something decent to watch until 9pm when PBS airs another Jane Austin movie (Jackie told us about this a few weeks ago).

I was bad tonight w/ my eating....ordered Pizza Hut and enjoyed each slice that I ate (won't tell you how many I ate tho).....now I'm stuffed!

Dinner last night w/ my cousins was fun, and yummy. We ate at the Maya Grill (at CSR) - my 1st time there....good selection. They left for Miami today, but told me they may be back at the end of the month.

I am back in the laundry business here at home! We went to a small local Appliance Store and they had a really nice GE Super Capacity that had just been refurbished for $225. We grabbed it, loaded it in the minivan and DrHug got it hooked up for me yesterday afternoon. Works good and was not much money so I will be fine leaving it with the house. Nice to be able to do other things while doing

Ah yes, Ron of Japan, haven't thought of that place in years. And LOTS of visits to UNO as it was about a block or so from work. I worked on Mich Ave...at the Prudential Building and also 625 and 645 N. Michigan Avenue. Though my first job was down on Jackson a half block from the Art Institute.

I can't even recall how many times I hit Rush Street. One of my bosses owned a couple of bars there (his 'side' investment), wish to heck I could remember the name of one of them!

We were pretty much regulars at Second City, they got so they would always sit us up front, as we were 'good laughers'. I remember when Bill Murray joined the cast...just knew he was going to make it!

Hmm the bars on Rush street, I asked my Dh if he remembered and he said " we were too wasted" I do remember Down the Hatch, but can't remember if that was on Rush. What about the Disco, The Giraffe?
