It was kinda like the "paying it forward" thing for me...someone did something nice for me, so I did something nice in return. And they were so busy and the wait staff seemed frazzled to me. I also appreciated the fact that she noticed that my kids were well mannered and she felt compelled to comment to me about it....it was just a feel good moment all the away around!
I know what you mean. After we had a loss in the family, it took a long time before my mother would venture out. We went out for dinner, and the waiter was very patient and caring with my mother, and we were touched by his kindness. As we left I made it a point to take the waiter aside, personally thank him, and give him and additional generous tip. It was well worth it.

Well I've been to the gym this morning and we did a 30 min+ abs class. I'm going to ache tomorrow!

I think I have turned the corner with the gym and should be going more regularly from next week. Have a facial instead tomorrow!!!:lmao: I know which I would really prefer.

Dropped a little weight - perhaps pre last vacation, but a way to go yet. I don't weigh myself. It's the big birthday in March, so I am hoping to have made some headway by then.

Congrats Marilyn!!

Keep up the good work!:thumbsup2

Hope you have a lovely day!

I am only 15 pages behind now!!

And my right click won't work!! What is the DEAL????:confused3

Good Morning All! I feel really good right now, I just did some pliets and tondues at the ballet barre and some time on the treadmill. It feels good. I definitely don't want a cigarette now. That too is a good thing.

I'm running out today, so I'm just doing a drive by post. I'm taking Ray out to the moseleum again. This is our weekly thing now, every Wednesday we go.

Tomorrow I will add the 50+ names that I have printed to the Master List. When I'm done with that Lisa/LiserAnn I'm sending it to you and then I'm finished with it. You can take it from there and keep a current head count.

Friday is payday and bill paying day and then another week is over. How quickly they go by. We only have three more months until this cruise and it's going to go so very fast. I can't wait.

Have a great day everyone!

Great work Deb!! :thumbsup2

Keep it up!

We are all so proud of you!!:grouphug:

Hi Dave and welcome. John and I live in the North of England, so not that far from you!!

Well as of today I am going to the Philippines on Feb.9th and returning on Feb 28th. I will be going back sometime in late March.

Like John said I am both excited and reluctant. It can be a dangerous place but I have to believe that GE will do it's best to keep me safe, although in December someone from our office was there and a tank ran into the hotel they were staying in. It was an attempted Govt. overthrow.... She had to be evacuated to a hotel near the embassy and came home early...

I will be going with another person so there will be two of us that is a good thing.

Very exciting and nervy at the same time Amy, but a great chance to see somewhere far away and I am sure a beautiful interesting place.

I can't do laundry on the boat as I am allergic to laundry detergent. The left over in the machines also hurts me. So we have to pack 18nights worth of clothes each!!!:scared1:

House Party has still not responded to me. This is aggravating.

Ok now the sad new: My dad has cancer and my DM's best friend has Lukemea. :sad2: They told DM's friend there was a 90% chance of remission and she is in the early stages.

Sorry to hear your news.

I can't believe I finally caught up, it took a couple of days:scared1: :scared1:

NEW YEARS RESOLUTION #11

CHECK DISNEY BOARD DAILY......OOOPS I MEAN HOURLY!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Good night y'all!!!

:lmao: Too true!!

2 pages...... I blink and its like 100 pages... I feel sooo over whelmed I just never know where to start or speak in....:confused3

Just keep popping in and checking with us!!!

I think I posted this before... probably a year ago!!:scared1:

We had things that worked well as "separates", I have several of the "Cabi" style skirts that reverse from one print to the other (Coldwater Creek and Nordstron carry these as well) and tops that go with them as well as with other items or pants, and we utilized the dry cleaning and laundry on board the ship. It was not terribly expensive and was well worth it for the time it saved us and the "non-interuption" of vacation time.

We DO NOT travel light and I have no problem shipping things home!!!;)

Karen

I worry a little about using the laundry service in case clothes shrink etc, and as I am going to stretch anyway that would be a problem.:lmao: Most of our clothes say 'do not tumble dry' unlike yours.

Yeah, mom and I make up a good team... We like to travel together - have the same tastes and she seems to be semi patient with all the crazy ideas that I come up with...

Mom is the one who held us all together when my dad decided to have his midlife fling with someone else. She's the rock in the family.

& to that... she should be in a deck chair with her 5th book and a pina colada on the cruise...

(her first cruise AND her 76th birthday while we are onboard!!!)

Party time. Your pics were loely.

Dinner at Margaritaville.

I hope it's a great trip!

Be safe! We'll keep John in good spirits here while you are away!

On the way to school this morning, Tyler asked me if I remember the pirate ship we went on for his birthday in Tampa. Our Florida friends (Heather/ThreeBritts treated us to that when we visited them). Then he asked if we'd get to go on another pirate ship when we go on the cruise. So I told him about the pirate ship excursion I was thinking about doing, but wasn't sure about how he'd handle the heat all day and explained to him that it's much longer than the one we did before when he had problems. He said, "That's OK mom, I really want to do it, so I promise I won't get grouchy if I get hot. And I won't wear my pirate outfit so I won't get so hot". So we might be doing that!

But when I told him this one takes us to a beach to swim for a while and have lunch before taking us back to the dock, and he said, "Uh oh....will the sea water give me problems again like last time?" He has VERY sensitive skin and when we were in FL in June, he was in the water for about 15 minutes. He couldn't even walk back to the car because his legs were completely raw in the area where diaper rash would be on babies. It was awful and looked so painful. Took a couple days to clear up. So he's a bit nervous to be in the ocean again because of that. :guilty: He does get rashes very easily, so I don't blame him a bit for worrying.

Hi Hollytyler

Keith want to go to Pirate ship in PV too. So I promise him that we will booking it for 4 of us and Keith have very sensitive skin too. He is easy burn like his dad. So I have bring lots of sun cream and hat for him too. Olivia love younger children and always make friend with younger boy so maybe Olivia join with Tyler pirate: pirate:

I think something different for our kids while we are in PV and I was reading about Pirate ship sound great fun.

I am always very careful with our cotten stuff as "my figure" can't handle shrinkage!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Anything that I felt would shrink, I sent to dry cleaning and it came out great. I had our PJ's washed as I brought 2 pairs but really should have had 4, and they came out fine.
