The scrapbook convention that I went to yesterday was CKC in Phoenix convention center downtown. I go twice a year to the CKC. They have one in Mesa and the one in Phoenix. I used to like the one in Mesa better because of sentimental value since it was the original one before they made a second one in Phoenix a few years back. I do have to say the Phoenix one is better though because they have larger isles more space and the food is soooo much better for the same expesive price as the other of course. I took two classes one of course was fun with Disney and then rushed home it time to take my DD to her first soccer practice she was so excited since she's been watching my DS play for years she's wanted her chance. DS is doing better fever free last night and today I can't wait to scrapbook on the cruise how fun

We had fun! Didn't see many sale items, tons of costumes, which we don't need, had to limit Tyler to 1 item because he wanted everything! So we didn't go as crazy as I'd thought, but was still lots of fun. His one item turned into 2 because they were 2 for $20, so I couldn't pass that up!

How happy is he My DD tried to talk me into the 2 for $20 but I need to limit the stuffed animals with my sons allergies and I never know what to do with them all. She has tonz and loves them always asking for more I may have to get her another minnie mouse on this trip because it means so much to her

Yes, you send Shirley things but I think she wants them real close to the cruise. We did that for our cruise last year - I went to the costume store and got pirate outfits and sent them to her and she put them in the baskets. Lisa

did anyone watch the DCL special on the Travel channel on the 14th? We had it in our DVR and my kids and I are watching it...they are so pumped.

My mom has breast cancer. It was found in both biopsied sites and they are each of a different kind of cancer, neither of them good. We are looking at surgery the week of 9/24. Between now and then she is having a CT (lung and pelvis) and MRI (both breasts) to rule out cancer being in any more sites. If they find nothing more, simple surgery, if there is more, then I'm not sure what if anything will be done.

I haven't slept well for 3 nights and have had a migraine lingering for 5.

Send mom, me (& my family) the prayers and pixie dust for now we need them.

I'll be reading, but I doubt I'll post in the next few days/weeks.

She likes it about 2 weeks out or closer and I think I heard she would like you to only send 2 items per basket.

I called just a few weeks ahead, and even then she asked that I wait to send the stuff until the week prior. I think she makes the baskets Mon-Friday for the cruises that Sat so doesn't like inventory prior - but I'm just guessing as this was the only time we did it. It was great as it saved us from having to carry all the pirate stuff to Orlando. I packed an extra bag for the pirate stuff and other purchases. Worked great. Lisa
