LadyRob, that outfit is SO STINKIN CUTE! Awesome job! Love all the appliqué work! That's my next hurdle - I've never appliquéd before, I'm going to try and learn this week!

Here are pics of one outfit that has been my most popular for the little ladies.

She's worn it out a lot and my mom teases that she's my best advertising. We went to a summer solstice fair yesterday and I gave my info out nonstop.

I've done bed size toddler quilts in boys & girls themes with NBC as well.

I saw this on your website and that zebra purse with hot pink skull!
LOVE THEM!!!

Oh, I'm going to have to keep an eye out for that fabric! It would be perfect for something for DS!

Yes I do. I'm just doing adult sizes now. I pieced all the fabric together myself so each one is unique.

LadyRob - Thanks! I wanted it playful. I always tend to lean toward the bright carnivale mixtures. I love black & white combos.

My love of NBC has really followed over to my kids. I've been a Sally freak forever. My daughter watches it constantly and was in love when I made it for her. I never thought other people would like it as well but its been really popular. So are the quilts. The Jack faces glow in the dark.

If anyone is interested in my info please PM me and I can send it out. I think I can PM now since I'm over 10 posts.

Okay ladies, here is the next item in my Knock-Off Boutique. :rolleyes1 The original was posted by obsessedwiththemouse. I have to give a big thanks to everyone for sharing their ideas and pictures. I'm not very good at coming up with my own designs but that is my next challenge. I plan to brainstorm tomorrow while I tackle that 12 hour shift.

The Minnie ears look a little warped in the picture but that's just how the dress is hanging. I wish I could post pics of DD in the outfit but I've promised DH I would not post pics of the kids anymore.

Me either! That's why I suggested the designers of the thread start consulting. I've been brainstorming my outfits for weeks and I'm just starting to pin down some ideas. Thankfully I have a few months.

You did a fantastic job on the Minnie outfit!

I like this! I must admit, I haven't seen the movie but this is so cute and girly. Great work and I promise I won't copy it. :rolleyes1
I might :rolleyes1

Great outfits ladies. I wish I could applique but my machine is from 1951 and doesnt zig zag. LOL Dont laugh it runs perfect and was only 5 bucks including the stand it sits in with matching chair. Gotta love yard sales.

Luxy........ I saw your site. Awesome cute stuff. Love all the pink and black. My older DD just started working for a company called Sugar Hooker Entertainment. (I know the name is funny--check out their site, it explains why) Most of their clothing line is Pink and black. Similar to what you make. I cant wait till they expand thier line to kid clothes (and bigger sizes so I can wear the stuff too...lol) Since I have an in now I may get some cool looking clothes LOL...Hey it worth a shot.

I am gonna go check that out! Sounds cool. Zebra and lime is another one of my favs.

For anyone looking for the purple princess toile, I found it on a website. She has it for $8.95/yard, so not a bargain, but if you want it, she has it. She has some other Disney prints too.

I'm going to have to send her link to my mom too, because I think that she knows someone that wanted a dress like my girls have.

Here is our 4th of July outfit. I can only take credit for the skirt and the necklace, the rest I bought off of ebay. I fell in love with this skirt at Goodwill, I just added the riboon, ric rac and bling stars. The pony o's are as close to a hairbow as my daughter will get and we are already fighting about the fact there are 2 of them! I guess she will have to wear ponytails!;)

stepmom3, you always have the cutest outfits for your daughter. What a lucky girl and a great find on the skirt. It is perfect!

Beautiful! I *love* the NBC stuff!

I still need one of those gauzy scarfs the girls wore in their hair. I cant find one cheap anywhere that matches. I refuse to pay more then a buck for a 1 time use. I figure a red one will work with the rest of the colors of the outfit. Anybody got one I can borrow?:goodvibes

I've been cleaning out the house all weekend in prep for a big garage sale next month and came across a gauzy red scarf I would be happy to send you if you could use it. It is square, and about 20" x 20".

Well Said Castle creations, I was about to "nose" in and say the same thing! By the way. I am checking every day to see you post this Epcot outfit with that fabulous fabric. Your outfits are some of my favorites on this thread. So, keep them coming, so I can shamelessly copy;)

Hey, I'm shamelessly trying to copy that pink mickey tulle skirt that I saw a while back. And I'm almost done too....LOL

I have not had time to check in here for a few days...lots to read, lol!

First of all Tink, big hugs to you. I am so sorry you did not like the outfit.

I design and sell custom clothing too. I have had many customers tell me that they trust my judgement, and to just do what I think will be best, or to design their outfit as I would for my daughter. I have NO problem doing this, but I also will send pictures EVERY step of the way. Fabric choices, colors, appliques, placement, style, EVERY step of the way. My idea of what is gorgeous may not be your idea of gorgeous, but you had better believe I will always know what your idea is before I cut anything, lol! Each outfit I make takes a lot of time and I want to be sure it will be perfect for each customer.

I have made a couple of JoJo outfits I have made in the past...and my idea of what screams JoJo is very different, lol! Everyone has their own ideas....

With that being said I have never had a customer tell me they were unhappy with an item I made. I am sure that the seller feels bad knowing Tink does not like the outfit, but I also think Tink has the right to NOT like the outfit, having had no idea what was going to be used to create it, kwim? Hopefully the seller will try to work something out with Tink to make both seller and buyer feel a little better about the situation. :goodvibes

Tink have you considered listing the outfit on ebay? Maybe you can get most of your money back and look for a new JoJo outfit for your DD. Good luck! :)

Dena

Dena -

I love your JoJo outfit. Is the top based on a commercial pattern or is it something you created yourself? It looks like a great versatile pattern.

I truly don't remember any discussion about children with disabilities and I've read the whole thread. Can someone clue me in???

I don't really know anyone here, but I also don't believe that anyone here would make fun of a child, disabled or not.

Just to clarify, there haven't been any posts making fun of a child with disabilitites, I'm was just trying to point out, that we are all different, with different families and we have all been respectful of each other until recently. How would you feel, if the mother of that litttle girl with the "dirty face" , was a member of the DIS and read all of your remarks. I just think all of those posts were in bad taste, and I think we're losing our Disney spirits. :confused3

That is adorable! Oh, I have the cutest Mickey fabric to do that with!

Arrgghh! I am running girl scout day camp this week and can't get to any of my projects until after the 4th! That's what I get for offering to "help a bit" - I got made CoDirector.

OH SUPER AWESOME!

I would love for you to do that. I have searched everywhere here in town and have haunting yard sales (much to my other half's non-enjoyment:rolleyes1 since he drives me to them...:lmao: ) Let me know how much shipping is and how much you want for it (remember I am cheap:rotfl: )
Thank you so much. Now I just gotta get a chance to make the skirt. :)
