Here are pics of one outfit that has been my most popular for the little ladies.
She's worn it out a lot and my mom teases that she's my best advertising. We went to a summer solstice fair yesterday and I gave my info out nonstop.
I've done bed size toddler quilts in boys & girls themes with NBC as well.
Me either! That's why I suggested the designers of the thread start consulting. I've been brainstorming my outfits for weeks and I'm just starting to pin down some ideas. Thankfully I have a few months.Okay ladies, here is the next item in my Knock-Off Boutique. The original was posted by obsessedwiththemouse. I have to give a big thanks to everyone for sharing their ideas and pictures. I'm not very good at coming up with my own designs but that is my next challenge. I plan to brainstorm tomorrow while I tackle that 12 hour shift.
The Minnie ears look a little warped in the picture but that's just how the dress is hanging. I wish I could post pics of DD in the outfit but I've promised DH I would not post pics of the kids anymore.
I mightI like this! I must admit, I haven't seen the movie but this is so cute and girly. Great work and I promise I won't copy it.

I still need one of those gauzy scarfs the girls wore in their hair. I cant find one cheap anywhere that matches. I refuse to pay more then a buck for a 1 time use. I figure a red one will work with the rest of the colors of the outfit. Anybody got one I can borrow?
Well Said Castle creations, I was about to "nose" in and say the same thing! By the way. I am checking every day to see you post this Epcot outfit with that fabulous fabric. Your outfits are some of my favorites on this thread. So, keep them coming, so I can shamelessly copy
I have not had time to check in here for a few days...lots to read, lol!
First of all Tink, big hugs to you. I am so sorry you did not like the outfit.
I design and sell custom clothing too. I have had many customers tell me that they trust my judgement, and to just do what I think will be best, or to design their outfit as I would for my daughter. I have NO problem doing this, but I also will send pictures EVERY step of the way. Fabric choices, colors, appliques, placement, style, EVERY step of the way. My idea of what is gorgeous may not be your idea of gorgeous, but you had better believe I will always know what your idea is before I cut anything, lol! Each outfit I make takes a lot of time and I want to be sure it will be perfect for each customer.
I have made a couple of JoJo outfits I have made in the past...and my idea of what screams JoJo is very different, lol! Everyone has their own ideas....
With that being said I have never had a customer tell me they were unhappy with an item I made. I am sure that the seller feels bad knowing Tink does not like the outfit, but I also think Tink has the right to NOT like the outfit, having had no idea what was going to be used to create it, kwim? Hopefully the seller will try to work something out with Tink to make both seller and buyer feel a little better about the situation.
Tink have you considered listing the outfit on ebay? Maybe you can get most of your money back and look for a new JoJo outfit for your DD. Good luck!

I truly don't remember any discussion about children with disabilities and I've read the whole thread. Can someone clue me in???
I don't really know anyone here, but I also don't believe that anyone here would make fun of a child, disabled or not.

I've been cleaning out the house all weekend in prep for a big garage sale next month and came across a gauzy red scarf I would be happy to send you if you could use it. It is square, and about 20" x 20".

Arrgghh! I am running girl scout day camp this week and can't get to any of my projects until after the 4th! That's what I get for offering to "help a bit" - I got made CoDirector.
