I need special Pixie Dust that only we have!

Dh just flew out to give a HUGE presentation at 2 pm EST to his boss, one of the Vice President's and to about 5 other people. He is worried that it won't go so well because he is still fairly new and the account he is presenting on is a tough one.

If you can and would, say a quick prayer for him. He told me that if he could get through this afternoon with it going okay, he'd feel like he was starting vacation already. And we know he doesn't love Disney...

I forgot I had a few questions before I go to sleep. Maybe someone can help me with the answers. Again, this is all so new to me. Thanks for the help...

1. Are there any grocery stores near Disneyworld? We are staying at the Pop with no car so I am wondering if there are any store close by incase we forget to pack something.

2. Is there a Charater Meal with the Characters of Playhouse Disney? I think I saw that on a few ADR's today, but I cn't find info on it anywhere. Am I seeing things?

3. We have an ADR at the Coral Reef for my Dh birthday (our last day on vacation 5/19). Is that good or bad? I know it probably too late to try and get anything else by now, but maybe someone can recommend something else just in case?

4. My Dd Arika (6) totally LOVES the Disney Princesses. I haven't been able to find her a Princess dress here and am wondering if I will have a lot of options for buying her a dress once we get there? Any places you can recommend?

5. What are these lanyards I hear you talking about for?

1. You can get your groceries delivered to you. By Gardengrocer. Some people have used them on this thread. I have a car for this trip since we are staying at my mom's timeshare.

2. Playhouse Disney meal is at MGM at hollywood and vine

3. Coral Reef I heard is like a hit or miss. Some people love it and some people dont. Good Luck

4. Have you tried Target or Walmart for the play dresses. I know Disneyshopping.com has a couple in clearance. I saw a Cinderella for 19.99 or you can get one at Downtown Disney. They are expensive though.

5. Michelle sells the laynards.

I never pack until the night before or the morning we fly out. My cat freaks out if the suitcase leaves the closet. So I'm right there with you sister!

I have my suitcases stored upstairs in the bathroom that we dont use. My dogs freak when they see the suitcases. They dont like when I leave them.

Marcy - Looks like sunny and upper 60's here Friday & Saturday. But it does cool off quickly in the evenings like Jo said. So I'd pack shorts & jeans both!

Agreed. Chris last night said "Chris Daughtry did this last year..." and I yelled at the tv, "You, Sir, are No Chris Daughtry!!!!!!!!" Dh laughed because I really don't like this year's Chris. I quit watching AI last year after Chris D. was kicked off.

Me too!! I love Chris Daughtry!!!!! And I quit watching AI last year after he got voted off and swore I'd never watch that show again, but here I am watching it this year. . .

If you forgot something last minute it's cheapest to take the bus to DTD, then hop a cab to GOODINGS grocery. It's a fancy market and bit overpriced, but it's not 2 minutes from DTD. If you were daring, you could even walk it! haha!

It's the Playhouse DIsney Breakfast/Lunch at Hollywood & Vine in MGM. FABULOUS and soo much fun!!

A good choice if you are okay with one of the longer meals AND if you are okay with not being seatned near the tanks. I've heard stories of people not being close to the tanks and they couldn't even see them in some cases. So if that's a must, be prepared to wait. the Menu is fabulous, but portions are small from what i've been told. On our last day we love Kona and or anything in the WS but that's just us! haha! Have fun! Oh and it' snot too late for anything! I just got a PM from someone THAT JUST BOOKED their trip and they got all the ADRs they wanted for the same week we are going!! that's a good sign! as long as you aren't after popular things!

Tinkerbells treasures has a great selection if not the best second to WOD. They are going to run you upwards of 60$. MY Dd loves the Princesses and loves to wear them every day of our trip (princess pan) so we just bought hers at The Disney Store, Ebay and Target!! Tehy are all great quality and perfect for a girl that is still growing!!

I'm not sure if the ones you are talking about are mine, but i am more than willing to give you free lanyards from my store, if you just pay for shipping (2.50) For as many as you need. We use them to hold our park tickets and Disney GIft Card and Fast passes! I have given them to many MAYers as well
