One day soon I want to go here - as I've never had the pleasure. And now that the kids are getting older the time may be here soon for them to take in and REMEMBER the experience. They;ve just built some kind of glass observation point to check out the view too!

Love the grand canyon, dont think i would do that walk, even though i have been on a helicopter down it.

 ..it seem we all have hit a skid or two the last day.

hoping best wishes for those with concerns over family members
:flower3:

wow andy!, hope you wasn't doing any "buisness" transactions in
the lil'green building....when it came crashing down?

hopelessly behind, seem like my new favorite.

let see, can anyone tell why late seating good for us..i am night
owl. iam not sure how many going to read this...but have anyone
received their room assignments???? :scared: look how long it's
been since the 31st! i mean , they do realized that not all of us
are going to squeeze inside the broom closet ..or crow nest?

does anyone besides andy, remember the group "the new riders of
the purple sage"/..they did a lil'song called pamma red...:rolleyes1

Hey Grump.........I don't even know the group you were talking about.....:lmao: Maybe if I heard the song, I might remember them.....?

The first time I saw that little green building in my neighbor's yard I thought the same thing...........I found out later, it was a shed........:rotfl2:

The white shed in my neighbor's yard is new, the former shed that was standing there was replaced after the tree from my yard fell on it 10 years ago and caved the roof in. That little green shed has been quite lucky, two trees within 10 feet of it has fallen, yet the shed still stands!!! :rotfl:

That wasn't so bad, with so many people in chat last night, I only had 5 pages to read over this morning!!! :thumbsup2 :lmao: ;)

I guess everyone must be sleeping in this morning..............:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Angelina wants to go to the community center to workout this morning, so it's time I get her up, she likes to be there when the doors open up. Will be checking in later.

I was wondering why I only had 10 page to read.

Good Morning you early Saturday Morning risers.
Hazel - a very Happy Birthday to you!

Andrew I can relate to the, "will it fit" scare. When I moved, there was some question as to whether the sofa would fit. We managed to get it in. My queen size boxspring was a different story. After an hour of turning it every possible way, there was no way it was going it fit. It came down to calling the 800 mattress place and have a split boxspring sent. Before I buy furniture, I measure it to make sure I can get it thru the doors.

I need another cup of coffee.....

Here is a survey we have not seen which soap operas do you watch DW is a fanatic about Young and the Restless and Bold and Beautiful

Oh, I know that feeling. We have this desk in our den that when they came to deliver it, it would not fit. We were afraid we'd have to have it shipped back when one of the movers looked at it and realized the desk top was screwed on -- so we broke out the screwdrivers and removed the top and squeezed it in. Why don't furniture manufacturers think about the size of doors?

Hazel on the Disney Magic--August 2003

Yes, Happy Birthday Hazel!

So before I check out for the evening...

I think its' time for another round of 7 questions for this weekend....

SEVEN QUESTIONS....

1]. TWO PART QUERY.... Given a choice would you choose living with excess HEAT, COLD or HUMIDITY? Or name your preferred environment. Given a choice - what would be the LAST environment of choice [least desired aspect] from the preceeding options?

2]. TWO PART QUERY.... Who's your favorite HERO? And what about your favorite Archvillan?

3]. What's your all time favorite TV show (or movie if you have no favorite shows).

4]. Did you brush and floss your teeth this morning? And what about last nite?

5]. Whats' the most charming or thought provoking thing you have seen, witnessed or to have happened in the past 48 hours?

6]. If you could wake up tomorrow and relive any one day from your past... and relive it with possible changes ... but returning to the present would NOT change... what day would you like to relive? It's just pure fantasy.

7]. If you could change one thing about your home - what would it be?

1]. Excess heat, with low humidity.

2]. Not much into heroes and villans.

3]. The West Wing

4]. Yes and yes.

5]. Nothing. I was working. Nothing thought-provoking there.

6]. The day my mom died. I received a call that they had found her dead. I would change it so she lived long enough for me to get there to say goodbye.

7]. It would be all brick instead of siding.

So here's something new - sort of a double mystery.

We sent in a Foreman grill because it failed under warrenty. They emailed that a replacement had been sent to us ack in January - and the tracking number said it was delivered on January 31st. On February 21st we noticed it had not shown up - and that's when we checked the tracking number to see when it should have shown up. SO just 3 or 4 days ago we reported it missing to UPS. And they said they would send a claim request back to Salton. Well - guess what... it showed up today? That almost sounds too quick for Salton to have reshipped one... and my spouse says the box said something about having been delivered on the 31st of January. So what's it doing showing up on our doorstep today in March?

Now the same thing sort of was happening with Sharper Image. I had purchased a pair of binoculars off their auction site - and it never showed up. Also it's been a month with that. Well - I emailed them late last week - and today this showed up on our doorstep (delivered).

What gives?

Yes, my guess is a lazy UPS delivery agent who is marking the packages as delivered and then only taking the time to come out if someone complains. I avoid UPS whenever possible after last year when the delivery person stole my son's medication. (It is a controlled substance from a mail-order pharmacy. We received a note saying they tried to deliver it. We called and asked for redelivery and UPS told us they could not find it. Later found out the delivery agent had taken it.)

Don't think I've ever seen a morning where I only had to click through four pages of ketchup. Busy day today. One son is off to "Merit Badge University" (a Boy Scout thing) already. Other son has PA Math testing today for 6th grade and we are taking DD4 out to dinner tonight in honor of her birthday Monday (although she does not deserve it -- had a big row yesterday over her messy room, finding empty pudding cups in it and Play-Doh stuck to the carpet that she tried to hide with a blanket) :confused3

I do not have a room assigned. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I do, but I can't find room "GTY" on any of the deck charts. I'm thinking it may be one of the suites...
